802, Nio, LhX are all one person. It’s funny how none of these anonymous trolls didn’t comment to any article in this site at the weekend, but here are they again sametime. There’s like 15 anonymous trolls commenting only in Apple articles, they never write to any other articles, but in reality those are 2-3 different persons. I exposed them.

Your cousin might have had very old model of OnePlus (you don't even say which)
Also, see any unbiased review between iPhone and any Android Flagship and you'll see the whole situation, you still can't get out of that bubble, good luck!

Wily2021, 25 Jan 2021I'm 100% sure majority of people prefer noticable bett... moreI am 100% sure that people prefer smoother screen than slightly better camera which is very relative thing, whereas difference between 120hz and 60hz is huge :)
I bet you will change your opinion when iPhone 12s or 13 will have 120hz and say "oh god, that 120hz is so USEFUL and COOL"
Also, of course everything goes down to preference, Android or iOS?
For me Android is better because of better functionality and customization, but to be honest phone is a phone and 80% of won't find so many differences between those two OS, so the comparison is mostly between specs

Anonymous, 25 Jan 2021Get out of "Apple Bubble" and accept the reality ... moreMy cousin been oneplus user for many years, now he went to 12 Pro and couldn't be happier. Now i can also take seriously when he show me pics he took. With OnePlus, oh boy the photos were horrible. always wrong colours and white balance so wrong.
Comparisons like you just did are pretty much useless, as everyone have different taste and needs. For example you forgot to mention that 8T is just huge in size compared to iPhone 12. I never compare different phones with each other because every phone has cons and pros. Some do better in some areas and some others in other areas. It's the overall packet which matters. It's also funny how you value different things better than others in your comparison and also downplay those things where Apple is ahead :)
Also biggest con with OnePlus is just a fact that it runs android ;)

Wily2021, 25 Jan 2021Droidboys like you definately makes us feel like we have so... moreGet out of "Apple Bubble" and accept the reality that Apple is the greediest brand nowadays. Steve Jobs time was the only time when Apple was great... Now it's only "popular brand" which sells overpriced tech with no innovations, no advanced technologies.
You know what is production cost of iPhone 12? Approximately 400$... But Apple sells it for twice more, 800$ (and that's only 64gb versions, if you want more +100$) Also, if you consider other countries, the price might go up to 1000$ which is insane!
You might say that other brands also sell overpriced tech, and I will agree. For example regular Note 20 is overpriced. But this is applies on few cases, whereas 90% of Apple products is overpriced.
Let me compare 2 different phones and see:
OnePlus 8t Vs iPhone 12
1. Price and Memory:
OnePlus 8t 128gb costs ~600$ whereas iPhone 12 64gb costs ~800$...
You save 200$ and get more memory!
2. Screen:
OnePlus and iPhone 12 have both OLED screens, but OnePlus 8t's got bigger screen, less bezels and NO Notch! In addition it has 120hz display which makes it smoother and immensely improves user experience
3. Battery:
OnePlus 8t wins with 104h score on GSMarena Vs iPhone 12's 84h score.
Also OnePlus has warp charge of 65w, it is charged from 0 to 100% in 39 minutes, whereas iPhone 12 only supports 20w charging and also, you won't have charger from the box! (This means you have to spend ever money)
4. Processor:
This is hard one.
A14 Bionic is better than Snapdragon 865, but the question is, do you need A14 Bionic's power?
It won't make higher FPS than 60 on 60hz screen in games, and also 80% won't be able to use it's potential, so what the point of overpowered proc?
Snapdragon 865 on the other hand is strong enough to handle most of the game on high refresh rate and is perfectly strong for daily tasks too. It sure will be relevant for 3-4 years if you consider having phone for that long.
5. Camera.
Arguable too.
OnePlus 8t has decent camera, but iPhone 12's is slightly better I think. But again, it's better only on raw pictures without any set up and manual changes.
If you know how to use camera settings, know how to edit pictures, with OnePlus 8t you can achieve astonishing results with camera. It's like art, if you have skills and know what you are doing, you can make masterpiece with any materials, even if they are "bad".
Of course I didn't compare every single spec, these were the main points of phones when person considers buying new mobile. See, OnePlus 8t here dominates in almost every aspect?
P.S. what's your argument, ecosystem for 5 years just to have inferior phone in other aspects? Open your eyes, Apple's production is far from perfection, it has some flaws when compared to other phones..

Wily2021, 23 Jan 2021I like what you did there! :DMeanwhile : Iphone / IOS :
- UX design on IPHONE 12 PRO MAX atrocity Worse Ux design ever, on mac that's "ok"
I want to throw my phone against a wall when I see how badly the UX & Ui is.
- 3D Facial security is awful and easy to bypass
- No pen support !?!
- Default keyboard is shiiiT
- Respect of privacy null (fake privacy protection too)
- No way to improve your launcher or apps experience !?!
- No real gesture support, perhaps in 2030 !
- No underscreen fingerprint reader, (so did not even bother to put it on the side like sony)
We do not have the tech ready so well we delete it, and tell you wait for the next phone H4H4H4
- Open setting to control apps, not even a underlevel menu. YAY. that's sexy so much sexy !
- No real application use of LiDAR tech. Super sad !
- Dumb'd down User Interface.
Always steps behind in technologies against Android sometime over 2 years+
I feel ashamed to have purchase an Iphone premium model, even if it did cost me virtually nothing. I wanted to be a sheep too, I knew Android was so much better but I had to !
should have stick with their cheapest iphone, just need for app.
Since, it's so much inferior to what you want do with an Android phone.
Even Huawei with Mate 40 pro there are more novelties , applicable functions for the users. (if you do not mind all your data belong to ...).
Have less, dumm-it down and be happy customer !
There's your Apple user intelligence, agonisingly.
If only :
PureOS/Librem
Ubuntu touch by UB
Lineage OS
Kai oS
If only any of those could become mainstream and surpass Android and that perfectly inconsistent ioS...

Anonymous, 24 Jan 2021Investing to ecosystem? Heh, :DD "of course", acc... more” accept the fact that only few people have their mobile phones for more than 3 years, they change it every 2 year or so (sometimes more often!)”
Fact? :D
Average upgrade cycle nowdays is 3 years, soon it’s 4 years because it’s growing all the time because phones are so good nowdays, there’s no real reason for normal smartphone buyer to upgrade anymore. That’s why companies put all the effort to camera, because that’s basicly only area where noticable changes can be made for masses.
https://www.gsmarena.com/weekly_poll_how_long_will_you_keep_your_phone-news-44070.php Just look this gsmarena poll and remember these people who voted aren’t even average smartphone buyers and most popular choice is 3 years, 4 years are also really high.
This just isn’t good trend for Android OEMs that people keep their phones longer and longer. For Apple both ways are good.

Heh, :DD "of course", accept the fact that only few people have their mobile phones for more than 3 years, they change it every 2 year or so (sometimes more often!) so as a result 5 years of support is more of a marketing stuff from Apple. Yes, marketing and advertising, that's the real niche of Apple, easily influencing and manipulating people with their unique "views". Oh they remove the charger because they care about environment! - But in fact they save some money and make boxes smaller = smaller boxes mean more space in transport = means more boxes can be transported at the same time = PROFIT.
Also, accept the fact that Apple is the brand that cares about the customers the least, their priority is money. You might say other brands also prioritize money, but remember what Apple did last 4-5 years? Quality product, but no tech innovation, only stuff to reduce their production cost and increase profit. No 3.5mm jack in iPhone 7, No earphones from the box, now no charger, what's next?
Why do people don't see this? Apple marketing and them being "blind" because of it. Yes, some brands copy that marketing things, but they are not so aggressive as Apple is.
Stop being in "Apple Bubble" defending it with ecosystem, open your eyes and accept the fact Apple isn't the same company as it was when Steve Jobs was alive.
P.S. I am not Android Fan Boy, it's just the Android system is only other option apart from iOS, I used to be on Windows Phone before and was hoping it could have great future, but Microsoft killed the system...

Anonymous, 23 Jan 2021The real reason, why brands using android, not supporting d... moreThat’s not real reason. No-one expect them to support their cheap phones, but one would expect little bit more for return paying $1000 for Android phone. The reason is the one which i said, it’s just bad business for Android companies if you keep your phone a long time, because they aren’t getting any other money, except Samsung is getting something from their services. Android OEMs need to sell new phones. For Apple it’s win win as long as you buy new model or keep your old model. People are anyway investing to ecosystem.
