how come they put galaxy nexus on the list?? its a device from google manufactured by samsung same as apple parts designed by apple n most are manufactured by samsung... if they put nexus then they should put iphones too on that list... really greedy apple... u r really disappionting the world...

The lawsuit takes place in China.
Retribution time for Apple.

If apple thks they r innovative, what is so innovative from iphone3 to 3GS to 4 then 4GS? Even with iphone5, there is hardly anythg special as such features are somethg consumers r begging for n long overdued. Eg. Proprietary connectors which r extremely ungreen. Forced to use itunes for very basic thgs. Then they give up to consumers' cry n launch iCloud. Now in iphone5, they try to kill google maps n youtube. Any worst, they will be changing the phone connectors soon to spawn new sales. That kills its loyal customers n accessories supply chain. Soon apple may sue asus n samsung for notebooks being too similiar to macbook air. When will this ends?

I am not a fan of any company or mobile SO, but my money. That said, this is getting ridiculous. Is Apple just admitting their total incompetence for innovation anymore so that the only way they can stop the BIG rival is with lawsuits? Why Apple fears Samsung so much? Ok, rhetorical question because Apple wanted to dominate the world with their iDevices, but they didn't see Sammy coming. Did someone write the truck plate?

[deleted post]No mate, you're dreaming to much! Win8 in smartphones world has much to learn and grow...the app market isn't good and tiles only option is to boring. And they already failed with the WP7.5 users, how can you trust microsoft anymore? I will love Win8 for my pc, like Sony Vaio duo 11, very cool pc/tablet. But not as a smartphone, I love my androids paired with my SONY smartwatch ;)!

Samsung can use Apple's tech IF they take a license deal but they denied taking the deal and now facing consequences.
Didn't apple and nokia made deal back then ? all companies are getting along , even Microsoft took deal for a small royalty fee for their WP platform to avoid lawsuits from Apple side regarding iOS.
Apple stealing Xerox and Copy Prada is just a joke created by fandroids as they have no life and no brain.
Apple took deal with xerox and finally xerox sue apple but they failed because apple already took deal with them legally and coming to Prada , just examine the design patents of Prada and iPhone , you will know it.
If Samsung really didn't copy ......what are those E-Mails stating "how to make devices to look more like an iPhone" kind of subject ? and Google also warned Samsung in 2010.
Google carefully designed android to "work around" apple patents and they implemented everything in a different way (Vanilla Android) while Samsung entered into dirty politics with Touchwiz and went into too much copying.

Apple is nothing but a shit company now, they lost their ground to Samsung for smart devices and they dont see any hope in them thats why they are after Samsung and the biggest issue is Apple started copying at the 1st place when they copied LG Parada the diagonal shape for their macbooks from Toshiba & Motorola.............Apple should be banned from the world market..............and Sammy please dont give a shit about what ever Crapple say or do..........

Apple can't be serious! A 5year old would confuse the puny iphone for a Galaxy S2, S3 or Note. The differences are just too great. As for patent infringments, from what I saw on their last chart the SGS2 had the least infringements so how many will the SGSR and Note really have?
If Apple wins this, or even if they don't, I hope the lawsuit Motorola filed goes in Moto's favor and Apple takes the heavy hit it deserves. They need a loss to show them they can't go bullying Sammy just for doing so well

I always hate the way Apple face the competition. Rather than investing their time on making a "WOW" innovation, they choose the path of lawsuit. I always like competition in Smartphones, it makes the technology grow faster and faster by day, and apple in the past was the pioneer on heating up the engine but now, Apple try to face the competition using lawsuit. It basically shows that apple has reach its limit.
The iPhone 5, which is basically a longer iPhone 4s with higher spec already draw a considerable amount of people bored with the design, the outer look is one case. Now, with lawsuit apple itself start, they can't even "steal" the idea that might improve their smartphone interactivity like: scroll-able notification (used by android), interactive widget on home screen (used by android) or Metro-like interface (used by windows) because now, even the competitor will see the gap in apple plans and use it against them. People can put a good argument on how Apple may not need all of them to survive. But really, time will tell, they are loosing their popularity by day.

instead of giving your customers more, you try to limit the compitition. and stupid fanboys who got videocalling 9 years and was it 3 updates late have the mental fortitude to come on here and bash samsung. the curved edges of a phone is enough to get it baned even if it offers 10 times more real enovation to its comsumers? fanboys and americanist are so full of themselves. by the way the both the icon and grid system, camera, video calling mutitasking, and lots more was coppied from symbian. your interest as a consumer is what should be driving you coments and interest but instead you settle for less cause there is an apple on it so it cool..... please guys think for yourselves
