Soon we will have Apple Samsung and maybe Xiaomi. Others will slowly die one by one.

As an owner of G4, V20, V30, I'd say it's sad to see. But. I was looking for a decent replacement for my V30, and I cannot find it in LG camp! Now I'm looking at Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi (the latter not so much after the USA ban), Samsung, and even Apple. I'd say, in my example, it's the true evidence, that they cannot keep their loyal consumers, they underdeliver and for that kind of company, it's just inevitable to close. Winding down spiral is like this: after V30 their main components are getting weaker (camera, display, no B&O audio tuning), the prices go up, they are impossible to find at local and global stores and now they are shutting down. I should say, it's not rocket science, and sure I felt it intuitively.

LG made great phones and would have been a great competition to samsung if they provided proper software and listened to the customers.
The Huawei issue and anti-Chinese sentiment would have boosted LG if they tried to bring in good alternatives.
Now that leaves only Samsung as the traditional mobile phone maker still left on the market.

And low price is only possible in the USA, where T-Mobile sold it in a "two for one" deal - buy one, get two. You can now find new and unopened V60s on Ebay at around half the price.
In Europe they were never sold in such deals, as such the price is around two times higher. Worse yet, availability is horrible (only from certain carriers at an insanely high price). And if you import from USA, you have to pay some high customs and taxes and lose any kind of software support (as far as I understand). And you can't get rid of that T-Mobile stuff they pre-install either. Stuff that likely won't work outside of T-Mobile USA.

GSMArena, please corect the picture name, is LG Wing, not Velvet. LG has some great smartphones (i own G6 and G8s), however, the bad software support was my main gripe with them...
