I have the Samsung 3 watch and use the health features alot. I check for upsdates on the glucose feature alot. The ekg and oxygen monitoring is good right now. I believe the new glucose feature will be great. Of course I will still finger stick to double check until I am satisfied it is accurate.

What a significant contribution to a type one diabetic and no more sore fingers. Well done and hoping the cost will be affordable and medical aids support new technology. Hoping I could be a trial patients or sponsorship to have one as I have been a diabetic for 35 years.

In fact, there must be a lot of potential buyers for those data we haven't thought of because the use is so indirect.
Facebook will definitely want those, I wouldn't be surprised if Amazon too, as Facebook want to predict how user act to gave them the perfect ads, and Amazon for showing the most relevant products.

Fayth, 26 Jan 2021still can not use ECG feature in my country 😓ecg feature is marketing. anybody who knows more about it can tell you you won't get any interesting results from apple watch.
Sure it's neat, but even calling it ecg is a joke.
You get one axis reading. Where as in the hospital you get usually 12.
No hate, but apple watch is a gimmick
