Neither Samsung phones are build in China, but still have better software support. 3 major updates for mid-range tier models like A51 & A71 and up. Both cost are already around 220 & 300 euro, these days.
IP68 is and Gorilla glass 6 nice, but the rest of the device is under-performing (camera, speakers, display, etc.). Just look at gsmarena's review (& other reviews on the Internet).

Imagine all those phones with plastic back, gorilla 3 on screen, 2MP macro cameras, cheap LCD from BOE that cpsts same or more.

Having SD665 does not determinated it has to cost less than other devices.

It is not designed in China.
It does not have chinese pieces.
It is not assembled in China.
All this already makes costs higher than chinese brands.

Tell us another phone from 2020 below $360 with IP68, oled , gorilla 6, 128GB and 52mm camera. All together.

Sadly, Sony provide only one single Android update to their mid-range devices (10 II, L4 etc.), despite being overpriced. On the other side, their flagships (1II, 5II, etc) will get 3 Android updates...

Screen record should never have been removed.
