You can test ... moreIf I was in charge of writing code for the AI, I would simply use the last known location to assist in case the GPS is switched off. Of course you can test this theory, but it's difficult for the average person.
The phone can also get a rough idea of where you are based on IP address. So when traveling, you'd have to make sure you're in airplane mode the whole time.
Anyway, that's just how I would go about it.

Cameras are not dependent on software as much as smartphones to take a good photo. Sony knows pretty well how to make cameras. No way it's their fault.

Tom, 31 Jan 2021Nah. You're wrong. If you don't believe me, first... moreWho cares when the phone already has access to GPS, IP adress and satellite photos of all angles? Doesn't matter if you look at it from the southern or northern hemisphere. Is that so difficult to comprehend? All the data is available so that the phone can fake the photo.

Anonymous, 30 Jan 2021Your link doesn't work The link https://imgur.com/I4g358d works fine, but unfortunately the website adds the dot as part of the URL. You can click on the URL, get a blank page, then remove the trailing dot from the URL and see it (or click the link i've put again, now without trailing dot since it's in the middle of a sentence).

The Ultra takes a pretty decent photo of the Moon (with AI help) but I can guarantee that a DSLR is able to take much better photos.
