30 January 2021

Tom, 30 Jan 2021Moon also rotates around its own axis. It's not possib... moreyou forgot the basic theory of moon that have same revolution and rotate days. it means the same face would always show up to us every time

to the many less educated but hyper opinionated people here saying the moon looks the same no matter where you are looking at it
WRONG - and go read a book -
yes we only see one side of the moon - but man in London will see a different angle of the moon vs a man in Sydney - if you dont belive me - go to London and then to Sydney - look at the moon

Samsung lied in 2020 with Space Zoom 100x .
I bought S20 uLTRA and am disappointed with results.
      Never worth the high price.
I will never buy a Samsung phone again...

It always shows the same side towards us (one moon rotation around its own axis takes the same time as one rotation for the moon to go around the earth).

ypcx, 30 Jan 2021I have the P30 Pro long enough that I know for sure that it... moreI am quite sure that it does. This is an image that has been taken with the P30 Pro allegedly. https://stargazerslounge.com/uploads/monthly_2019_09/IMG_20190913_212709_199.jpg.814f05656fc97e82534659d4e7558c67.jpg

A Canon M50 + sharp Sigma 105mm f/25 lens resolves less detail. Due to diffraction it is physically not possible that the P30 Pro resolves more detail than a sharp 105mm f/25 lens on a 24 megapixel Aps-c camera as at f/25 it has the same effective diameter as the P30 Pro periscope camera and because the Sigma lens is sharp. The effective diameter determines the maximum angular resolution that is physically possible. If such a limit didn't exist, it would even violate the Heisenberg uncertainty principle.

All the smartphone photos are fake these days. Specially the iphone and pixel photos. They do too much software trickery like multi image stacking ( faking HDR) to mask the lackluster hardware.

Cameras are doomed to be replaced by smartphones, especially for the general public and in certain scenarios for professionals ... But I wonder how can we miss the moon with the A7RIII? Is the 600mm lens wrong? Or is it the shooter who does not know how to use it or does he miss it on purpose?

The guy who took that photo with the Sony camera needs to learn how to take better photos. I can take a better shot on my 6 year old DSLR

I will help you out, there is no one who can judge this, just test them with other devices, then they all give a different picture, you have to test it in earthly practice, I have tested with Huawei, iPhone, Samsung, Oppo, Google pixels, and many more brands, from expensive to cheap, all in 2019-2020, well then you are sometimes scared, and then also the same situations, check out most of the tests, then one photo has a different angle than the other Different and a completely different exposure then comes out, they call that testing, and certainly no tripod, what you don't have with you in normal life, with kind regards. Willem.

This is much better than fake moon Huawei phone.
