I seem to see still available in some stores here in Asia as about .01% of folks even purchases one and like 99.99% only buys PS5 & PC as combo!

This is the console with the most flops, and flopping it certainly is. Thankfully the scalpers will keep this flop viable (FFS, the PS5 was supposed to be quite less powerful, yet it beats the XSX in most newer games! Microsoft, WTF!?)

As a Xbox Series S buyer I'm disappointed, MS has stressed out that XSS set to have the same graphic fidelity like XSX but target lower resolution 1080P instead of 4K.
Many games like Control Ultimate with next generation patch are rendered at 900P and are without Ray-tracing. XSS 10GB RAM are not sufficient to handle previous generation Xbox One X games, and we are getting the stripped-down versions of the Xbox One S games.

Scalpers abused the opportunity to tackle COVID-19 limitations. Brick and mortars are out of service. People are unable to physically visit stores and buy what they want. Market Chain malfunctions as warehouses are under control of online shopping priority. In developing countries this situation is regular and in some of them even official market control authorities abuse their superiority over regular customers. In already developed countries, this is a temporary phenomenon which will last between two to maximum three years. Tax control is what lacks in developing nations. There is a long story for majority and a new condition for minority.

Scalpers are not mostly to blame.

What is to blame is the lack of supply coming from covid (which impacts TSMC demand, as well as other foundry's) and the huge interest in buying consoles due to having more money in the pandemic as you spend less.

                                How about you report correctly?

AnonD-973296, 02 Feb 2021what a trash time to be a gamerDunno, I bought Ryzen 5800X in december 2020, I bought RTX 3080 this january, both in a shop at relatively reasonable prices. We always have prices inflated compared to Germany, but these days, our prices were almost the same. Except local shops at least have cards where in Germany, they are basically unobtainable.
