And the 13 won't do that either.
The lowest end models get less cameras regardless

sixtymes, 04 Feb 2021I have said many times since 2016, Samsung should have been... moreWhat you're talking about?

I have said many times since 2016, Samsung should have been doing this for their S series. they should have started offering the same high end camera setup as the S Ultra for all S's starting with the S10 or S20. All S's should have the same camera setup as the Ultra. Since they do not, I predict the iphone 13 series will be apples highest selling product to date. peoples hand size matters. Not everyone can hold an ULTRA easily, yet everyone that wants high-end wants to best camera possible, that is the main reason now a days people buy high end. How can Samsung be so blind as to not know this? It's been common sense for years now. At least apple gets it, now. Because of this implementation, Apple is going to crush Samsung sales when they release the iphone 13 series. Suck it Samsung, you had your chance, now, you'll be a follower yet again. Should I tell you what else you and apple are not seeing?

Apple? Increasing aperture? Increasing sensor size?
                        What?

                          Anonymous, 03 Feb 2021Heh LG V30 with f/1.9 2017. Apple 2020 f/2.4, LG G5 2016 f/2.4 :DDon't forget G4 that has 16MP f1.8

Remember that dual aperture system that Samsung debuted with the S9 and S9+? I wonder how that system will fairs up with an ultrawide sensor.

Aperture is only there to get more light and to play with the depth of field. Sensor size is still important. That is why a 1-inch sensor at f/2.8 aperture can still produce much better lowlight photo than a smartphone sensor with a large aperture.

So outdated as usual. Maybe iPhone will catch up to the S21 Ultra in 2025.
