Yes I also 'love' the comment on lackluster performance. I spent $2000 CDN (approx $1500USD) on my gaming PC with a 2070Super in it and the PS5 is.. somewhat comparable to it which in itself for the MSRP is quite the feat and I soon as this BS scalping situation is out of the way I'll be getting one. I get so sick of hearing fanboy (PC or PS) talking about the negatives of each... how about this, lets just focus on the positive aspects for each which for the PS5 is the price for performance (Sony literally takes a loss because they are selling it so cheap).

I guess you can do better for USD$399/EUR399, especially a system that is supported for over 5+ years playing the latest games. You get the whole thing (CPU + GPU + NVMe SSD + RAM + PSU + Case + Controller) for less than the effin GPU. They just gave away Control Ultimate this month, and they do give away "free" games every month (you do have to pay the PS+ subscription).
As always, one could make a pretty strong case either way (such is life and choice). However, your ramblings make very little sense.

Anonymous, 08 Feb 2021And here you are laughing your as* out because your 2000EUR... moreDidn't say it's wrong. I pointed out how lackluster the performance is and how you guys created fake hype about this broken product (in case you don't know, the memory has no cooling and runs off spec at over 90°C). You can buy a pre-build PC as well if you desire. The issue I have with Sony is that you have to pay 50 bucks a year for online access. And they still failed on the free games promise of Playstation +. Now they made a console which performs like an old PC, costs you for online access, AND runs uncomfortably hot.
I see through the marketing BS, that's why I point these things out. I currently have a GTX 1060 as well and I know it isn't really great. I don't like that card and it's sad to see bad performance, or rather graphics, of these "new" consoles. It could have been so much better but unfortunately most people don't realize they are being played by Sony and Microsoft.

Not to mention you need some tech skills if you want to build a gaming PC. Also you need to know the best compatibility between components, best manufacturers for certain components, etc. And in the end, you still need to tweak some settings in the game to make it "perfect".
With a console all this trouble is zero and the games are made by the developers specially for that console. So you basically need zero preparation. And in your opinion this is wrong because?!

Anonymous, 08 Feb 2021Gaming PC's are better, but consoles are cheaper and m... moreIndeed! Personally, I *need* to segregate my work (and sensitive data/code) from the recreation. The easiest way to do this is using consoles in a separate VLAN. Once every blue moon I have to spawn a VM (using KVM+GPU passthrough) for the odd game that only exist in the PC side, but that is too cumbersome for the regular user.

Anonymous, 08 Feb 2021Lol, you obviously didn't had a gaming laptop. I had... moreThe new AMD CPUs change all that. Of course the cooling solution needs to be well designed as well but atleast they don't run at 90°C like Intel. Laptops are becoming more viable day by day.

If you want to talk about fanboy blindness, start there.

I had zero problems with Lenovo legion series and asus series. But of course if you are serious you will buy stationary PC and forget mediocre console experiences.

Yeah, that's a big no on advising the Xbox Series S and saying it's a good product for people with 1080p, running now current-gen games at sub 1080p in 2021. Hell, some games even at sub 720p.
This thing will hold back the entire gen, or at least until they drop support for that half-ass console.
Most of the problems with the PS5 can be fixed through OTAs, and all of its problems can be fixed. (External memory support.)

Anonymous, 08 Feb 2021Just get a $700-$800 gaming laptop and playLol, you obviously didn't had a gaming laptop.
I had a 1000EUR gaming laptop from HP. Good only for 1h gaming sessions. After that it became hot, it started throttling and games lagged. I remember at some point I wanted to play Doom (2015) and the game was barely playable with low settings on FullHD. And the laptop was 2017 new model at that time. Lol.
I sold it and bought a PS4 slim and finish the game on console. Better experience. And that was only one example, but there were other games too.
I will never buy a gaming laptop ever again after that experience.

Amol, 08 Feb 2021Hi,
I am using the Samsung the Frame(2019) TV with my PS... moreWhat I can suggest is to check on your TV which HDMI ports support the feature, as not all the TV ports support 120 frames.
Try to use the HDMI 2.1 or 2 for the best results as well.
I hope this helps.
