so, I have Sony a7m3 (a7iii) with latest firmware (4.00) and Xperia 5 ii (stupid naming) and connect my cam to phone with tupe-c type-c cable and.. this function isn't work.
May be I do something wrong.. I don't know.

I entirely disagree. Google Pixel does destroy - it destroys all semblance of user-privacy and user-security. Google Pixel is never to be trusted.

Second, Google pixel doesn't destroy. Xperia with its photo pro app makes one of the best cameras in the market. Pixel is far fetched.

Even a semi optimized software can make wonder with bigger sensor. Just like cameras. Cameras don't rely much on software optimization hence a better sensor churns out better pictures.

Anonymous, 10 Feb 2021My xiaomi is better and cheaper than thisI have an XZ1 Compact from 2017 and a Xiaomi MI 10 5G, well I can tell you that when it comes to fluidity and optimization or battery management, it's day and night, despite the Xiaomi being up to date with current technological innovations, the old Xperia is much better. So I don't know which Xiaomi you have but I don't think it's better than the Xperia 1II or 5II, maybe it's better in outfitting big numbers like 12 GB RAM, fast charging +50w or 108 Mpx sensor or the terrible zoom x100

Second is HDR (stacking)
From same phone. How is this even possible?
You need to compare HDR on x HDR on or HDR off x HDR off.
Not Phone A HDR on x Phone B HDR off.
Xperia cam uses HDR only when it thinks it is necessary, not 100% of the time like other phones.

1) 5 devices planned for 2020. Three flagships.
2) the cheaper devices without Exmor (L5) only as main camera (10ii). Everuyone knows isocell are inferior to similar spec exmor.
3) midranges no longer get camera previously used by midranges like they used to. X, XA1 and XA2 had cam of Z5. X Compact the system Laser AF + RGBC-IR like XZ.
If they cared about midranges and low ends they would give update to L series or at least ship it with current android. I highly doubt the L5 is gonna come with android 11. Also give two updates to midranges, last ones heavily updated were X/X Compact.
Even when they were selling 40 million units (2013-14) they were losing money.
Much more than now.
Revenue was same of previous quarter, despite 23% less sales.
