This sounds cool but I don't believe they will deliver this at a competitive price. Didn't happen with CAT. For reference Blackview (one of many rugged phone companies out of China) makes amazing phones. I have 2. Both outperform my wife's 2020 flagship Motorola, and they have all the same rugged specs as the CAT platform did. And I paid $250 and $320 for them. If they are going to make a truly rugged Moto and it comes in over $400, then what is the use? Too much good competition out there that have been doing it for a few years now, and for way cheaper than your big 5 manufacturers can deliver on.

Joe , 11 Feb 2021Yeah, and then, a few years later, Moto will be sold again ... moreThat's unlikely but will be amazing if they do, it'd be best of both worlds, in one phone

I have a Cat S61, and I'm not Impressed with Bullit's quality. A flagship phone that doesn't have wireless charging isn't great, and the new S62 ditches the physical buttons, downgrades pretty much everything else, and uses a practically antique processor.

Anonymous, 11 Feb 2021It's actually lenovo who is making those phone lol and... moreYeah, and then, a few years later, Moto will be sold again like in 2011, but without any patents so it's not gonna be worth much. Motos sucked before the company was saved by Google, with many devices having even worse update policies than they have now. I'm glad that the company started being profitable, unlike LG, but, hardware wise Lenovo makes quite durable stuff, it's the Software that's a let down. Let's hope Lenovo knows what they're doing with the band THIS TIME.
On a side note, it's good that Bullit will make rugged Moto phones but I wonder if Moto will license their Shattershield displays?

Bullitt make great handsets, so this sounds like a great move. Nothing to do with Lenovo. Licensing deal. Bullitt handsets have 2 year drop warranties, so great for engineers and delivery drivers

Anonymous, 11 Feb 2021Motorola never can beat Xiaomi. It's actually lenovo who is making those phone lol and not the motorola itself. But this time, it's motorola getting back in the and I believe if they get back in the smart phone game without lenovo or maybe get back there moto brand back from Lenovo, the smart phones quality and specs and pricing will surely be awesome and justified :)
