It was a good thing long tim... moreDespite the industry effort to cow people into using a single type of tech, there are still many thousands of consumers who just don't like touch screens or cloud-based OS tech, myself included. I wish the companies could see that there's a market here that isn't just senior citizens. Unless there's some broader effort behind the scenes to herd people into certain domains of tech for some reason...

One of the features I liked about the BlackBerry OS, was the ability to have multiple applications running at the same time. I could check emails / tex message while listening to music.
Will the new BlackBerry have this feature?

Why batter with this keyboard? It was a good thing long time ago, but now is just an outdated future.
Just bring an excellent software for privacy/security and use an flagship hardware from nowadays.
You can sell this software/apps and you can make it available to all

i0S.-.Never.-.Again, 12 Feb 2021Not really. This is going to flop badly.
Nokia and Blackbe... moreBlackberrys future is not hanging on the success of this phone, it's Just there for the bb loyalists. They are so much more than a phone company now with their secure software for autonomous vehicles. I think they will be back to their glory days in the future but not because of a phone.
They will just let Samsung and apple keep selling their crap to the masses while they move on to the next best thing.

Blackberry phones as a hardware are good but service in India has been worse than pathetic. After being a loyal user since 3G, Bold, Classic, DTek, Evolve now I hate the brand owing to service as much I loved it.

Blackberry thinking it's really primitive, they're are stuck on this hardware keyboard for decades while Steve Jobs stated back in the the day that you don't actually need it all the time, and you'll be just fine with a software keyboard, but BlackBerry never learnt anything, look where they are now and look at Apple, if BlackBerry comes again with their nonsense keyboard they'll end up bankrupt even before they'll release any smartphone because no sane manufacturer sells anymore smartphones with hardware keyboards

I just upgraded my Keyone to TCL 10 5G since blackberry sold out on the Reddit stock sale and Hauwei got its hands on it, liked the Keyone so went with another TCL.
