I am waiting for this model..! I presently use BlackBerry Priv and actually need to change the device. Didn't want to go for any phone other than from BlackBerry. I was so glad when they announced that they are coming up with a new 5G phone. Can't wait for it to be launched in India..!!!!!!!!

I guess we can never get NSA-level-defending security in any consumer product... worthless to expect this from Blackberry, even if their brand name is strong.
But nice anyways....

Also the resell value for chinese phones is laughable. You can loose at least 50% of the value of the phone after 6-12months of usage.
It will be almost impossible for a new phone company to enter this market. Sony, Realme or OnePlus are struggling to enter in here.

As nice as it is, it would be a tough sell in my country, in fact the last model I purchased was the keyone and the mobile seller said, if you buy this now and if you are selling it for trade in the price will drop by half or more even in one month of usage. I said that is not a concern but like he said, it's so true after using it for about 3 months or so. People here is brand minded like Samsung and Apple, Huawei, Oppo, Vivo and the rest beyond that has bad reselling value.

You don't even use those computing abilities to its maximum potential and yet you talk like latest SoC is what defines a smartphone is. SD855 is still fine for today's usage. Qualcomm is just milking the hell out of consumers. SD888 is barely 10% faster than SD865 while SD870 is just an overclocked SD865. They keep increasing the price each year because of consumers like you keep eating what they churned out.
That said, I am always happy that there is more competition in the market. Blackberry may not be a popular option for the masses but at least we had more option to decide which our next phone is going to be. Unique user experience is always a plus in my book. Physical keyboard typing is still superior to touch typing. QWERTY layout is very pleasant for your everyday usage once you get used to it.

Heck, even the FOSS (All Linux community, GNU and BSD) are same as them, evil.
