If these leaked specs are correct, then Samsung has definetely won me as an owner of the Galaxy A72.
Also the price is top! 449€! Think about the Galaxy A71 which started at shocking 469€.
2021 IS FOR SAMSUNG!

Native telephoto camera in a Galaxy A series phone? This definitely sounds like a good prospect to me, not forgetting the IP certification.

For real, 14 Feb 2021500$ for this? 500$ is a new midranger? I think they are pushing up the A series into premium higher midrange segment from now while their M series will take the place of the 300$ segments

Anonymous, 14 Feb 2021A bit of a downgrade from the A71's chipset but niceA72's 720G is somewhat better than the A71's 730. But it is true that it is a downgrade if you're in the Philippines. Because the only A71 with 730G is only sold in the Philippines. (That's what I know)

Anonymous, 14 Feb 2021A bit of a downgrade from the A71's chipset but niceAnd a huge price upgrade...
Absolutely not nice. 90Hz screen doesn't even matter for a phone with a weak processor. In fact, it might even feel slower. Well, one thing's for sure: It's not worth anything near 500 euro.

mr x, 14 Feb 2021i wonder why Samsung used 720g rather than more powerful 73... morePossibly because they will be using the SD750G for the 5G variant, which is convincingly evenly matched by the SD765 in terms of performance. They can't use it since they need to make the 4G variant to be inferior as it will surely be cheaper, but they definitely could've used the SD732G at least instead.

Lol.ivan, 14 Feb 2021I was like "ok this is actually pretty good"
U... moreIf it's there just in addition to the whole camera system and is not affecting the usability of the phone, why should you complain so much about it?
Autofocus for an ultra wide lens? Go buy a flagship then.
At least this one is actually getting a true telephoto camera, which is something rare to find even on most mid rangers.
It even has IP67 water resistance rating, which is something that even some premium flagships don't have, so why are you so bothered with literally having more cameras despite the otherwise great overall package?

Kenawy, 14 Feb 2021SD720g can't handle 90Hz in heavy interface like OneUi... moreRealme 6 Pro is a living proof of how well the SD720G handles a 90Hz display. OneUI is every bit as smooth and fast as even Realme's ColorOS software, so definitely nothing to worry about it.
