I don't get why they don't care about the $300-$400 segment. Their most adorable phone with 6GB of RAM in the Americas/Europe is $500. Why aren't they interested in competing with Samsung's A7x/A5x series?

I have held back my upgrade to Motorola One Fusion Plus for these 'upcoming' launches. I personally see two challenges keeping in mind the competition - screen resolution and lack of 4k recording. I hope Lenovo prices it sensibly and does at least 20% reduction on the projected price to be competitive. E7 Power can probably be the one of the best in its segment when launched.
And clean Android is preferable to most no-nonsense user any given day.

I have had a Moto g7 plus for the last 18 months. Now the Motorola G line has gone well downhill. Plastic build, so-so cameras, no stereo speakers, middling chipsets, no fast charging,worst of all only getting one Android update. I cannot understand why they have gone backwards. When I upgrade in a few months I will be looking elsewhere.

how the mighty has fallen...the company i once so loved now making these generic copy and paste looking phones. Motorola use to be a leader in style. RAZR, moto x series...even the moto Z. Now look at them. This one just looks like a rip off samsung or even huawei p40.

Yeah, I take a 720p screen but clean Android over the clusterf*ck that is OneUI, MIUI and whatnot any day.

As a long time fan of Motorola, so many great phones , these two are by far the worst phones launched ever
.
No only they don't bring nothing new to the tablet but they really messed up the pretty solid G series. Looking closer you'll see they are nothing but recycled versions of the E7 plus (G10) and G9 play (G30).
Main question is why Lenovo, why are you doing this? If you don't want Moto sell it to another player. Better yet do it like Xiaomi , create a sub brand of cheap phones like the Redmi or Poco brand, wise decision by Xiaomi.
Long story short, if you want by any chance one these buy the Previous E7 Plus or the G9 play, chances are you'll find them cheaper and they have less than 6 month old.

I always get Motorola phones... Moto G6 play and now Moto G Power...Big Batteries but Slow charging... Mediocre low light pics, and No NFC...Still very decent phones for the price, but Not Great!
