Too many screens.
BOE and LG together would not be able to supply for all iphones.
It is common that OEMs have more than one screen supplier.
Even most phones were LCD, there were companies like Apple and Sony using mix of LG , JDi and Sharp panels.
12 Mini and 12 Max use oled from Samsung, while 12 and Pro from LG.

Even Pixel 4 can change between 60-90Hz.

You first said Apple and Samsung worked together with ltpo tech and Apple introduced half finished product in their watch. Whereas, Apple worked with LG and not Samsung. Apple developed the tech, LG produced the panels. Can you not understand this? That half finished product which you're referring to won the display of the year because of its tech. Apple haven't introduced this in their phones yet and you're saying that it ain't capable because it can't produce colors...... Blah blah blah....

About the Note 20 Ultra, yes it goes till 1hz. I was wrong about that.

About note 20 ultra. It indeed capable of reaching 1 Hz.
About unfinished LTPO of Apple, I think I've already said that in that comment, Apple's LTPO isn't capable of producing good and accurate color/brightness for smartphone use.

This display was crowned the display of the year, so what do you mean by half finished product? The watch series 5 had the adaptive refresh rate tech - 1hz.
Samsung developed and produced it later and introduced in their watch active 2. Then introduced it to smartphones - Note 20 Ultra. Btw, the refresh rate of Note 20 Ultra goes down till 10hz and not 1hz.
So it's originally developed by Apple.

BOE doesn't have LTPO technology. The thing LTPO is invented by Apple.
Samsung's one is called HOP. It's slightly different than LTPO from Apple. HOP has different backpanel technology than LTPO.

It's kinda like TFT LCD panel and IPS LCD panel.
