Samsung should also increase dimming PWM frequency of displays to at least 1 kHz. 240 Hz is useless.

          Excellent move, Samsung! I have Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy Tab S5e. No need to replace them during the following two years unless batteries get in a bad condition. ;)

                      Take Galaxy Note 10 as an example. It launched around Sep 2019, so will it get security patches until 2022 (2019, 2020, 2021 & 2022)? OR will the one year starts to count after one full year of launching, in this case it will get patches until 2023?

                        So yeah, I'd still rather rock a flagship for 6 years than anything low / mid end any day but hey, to each their own..💯

And they won't be expensive for long, with vendor that start also raising the selling price such as OnePlus and Xiaomi, this software model will work for the better in the long run.

                              And I rather stick with security update with unstable, battery depleting OS update. How many time you see at any given brand, complain new OS update crash, unstable, battery drain and hope they could rollback?
