I love how everyone is making fun of the 8 gigs of RAM that the Mate X2 has.
However, the true case is that 4-6 is the minimum. The evidence is how Apple manages its RAM so intelligently. The iPhone 12 Pro can easily keep two dozen apps running with 6 gigs. And Huawei have already demonstrated that they can easily keep up with Apple's RAM management.
And judging from what I can see, the 16 gigs of Samsung....is for DeX. And remember what Samsung said at the Note 20 Ultra's Unveiling? So much RAM is "not needed" if the software learns to manage the RAM in a sensible way. And the Note 20 Ultra does perfectly well with 12 gigs, or even 8 gigs if the its the wrong region. (Yes, selectional regional variants of the Note 20 Ultra only have 8 gigs of RAM)
You guy can't complain about the 8 gigs of RAM. That has only happened with the likes of the Microsoft Surface Duo, which was designed to do the same thing as the X2, but it had 6 gigs of RAM. 8 is sufficient, as every company has demonstrated.
(Writing this on a Huawei P30 Pro with 6 GBs of RAM while playing 2 games and watching a video on an external monitor)

3 things I dont like: Screen not so bright, 4500mah for all these screens even 5000 never too much, weight.. imagine while watching video in bed when it drops on the face may cause serious injury.

- Mate Xs owner w play services here. I can see why Americans banned them, they are leaps and bounds ahead of Apple/Sammy. If you can't compete be a b*tch about it

Anonymous, 23 Feb 2021lol just made video calling useless and youre praising it?If you look at the pictures you will see there is an external screen with a pill shaped camera punch hole. Video call problem solved and you still have a large intact internal screen.

I do like the wedge shape design when unfolded, it does look fresh. The camera hardware is not that much different than the one on the Mate 40 Pro+, so that is alright to me. But at nearly $3000, I'm not sure if I would buy one. I mean, I can buy a brand new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 and a brand new Sony Xperia 5 ii both together for the price of one Mate X2. $3000 for a smartphone is hard to swallow.
