But there is no limit for innovation, just look at Asus and Rog phone series, they create something new, they ignored notch trend, create almost throttle free performance, different hardware to impress gamers, and now they successfull made niche market among thousands of Android devices.
Samsung made new type of Amoled screen, we saw how dramatically battery life improved in their flagship, I didn't dig much but probably s21 ultra is battery champion among Quad HD devices.

With the price difference shrinking between the lower priced regular sized iPad and the iPad Mini it might not be long before the latter will be discontinued permanently. The newest iPad Mini might be its last.

I very rarely see Apple users mocking Android users. It's always some Android fanboys who keep commenting "why buy this expensive sht when you can have same feature in (insert chinese phone), or they kept using the same old jokes "Apple discovers this and that when my Android phone already has this for ages"

Replace please with 6.5 inch screens. SMe specs as mini. Androids are a hit with 6.5 inch screens.

Can't remember when was the last time I saw iphone users on this site constantly mocking and hating on Android users (to be fair, I don't think many iphone user even use this site, but that is another discussion). The other way around yes. There are more Android users (especially Android users of chinese phones) mocking other Android users (especially Samsung and Sony users) on this site.
And even though I am an Android user (most of the time), I received many hate replies from people that actually think I have an iphone, just because sometimes I say good things about iphones.
Problem with iphone haters on this site is that in the majority of times they don't even read the article. They just enter in there and immediately post something like "Android had it ages ago, Apple doesn't innovate, etc.". And that is important how? Or relevant to that particular post?
Sometimes the people with the biggest mouths have the least important to say about things.

Not everyone have thin fingers and handwriting with finger is almost impossible. I never heard of anyone mocking anyone for it really. Especially since it was on Note series only anyways.

More like Apple takes time so that other companies can refine technologies and they can get them for cheap.

Now they play copy cat. As usual, whenever certain features arrive on iOS/iPhone, suddenly they become useful. When they are on Android, they are labeled as gimmicks by people like you, despite them being extremely polished.

I want a 9 inch iPad Mini with the iPad Pro design. So barely bigger than the current one but with a much bigger 4/3 screen.
Specs would be the same as the iPad Air.
Perfect size for reading, gaming and portability.
I would personally buy 2 if they release one.

In the days of Steve Jobs, they were the first in many fields, which allowed them to sell their devices more expensive.
Now they are lagging behind in a lot of areas, but still sell their devices at crazy prices.

Those who usually buy premium phones already switch between android phones and iphones as they please. Many even have 2 phones (one android and one iphone). Because money is not a problem for them. Also the majority of these people are not haters of fanboys of any particular brand.
The average Android users (those who usually buy sub 300eur phones) will never consider an iphone. Especially a very expensive model, like this will probably turn out to be.

You can't invent the wheel the second time. Basically all that was worth "inventing" in the smartphone world has already been invented. All that remain now for companies, is to take those and implement them into their devices. With few adjustments each and there, depending on each company ideas.

I think Apple will attract Android fans with this phone. Maybe, 720p LCD display and A12 bionic chipset of iPhone XR will come back and USB-C might be included
Android fans mainly rushes for hype and extra features. This might be an attempt from Apple to create hype and attract more customers and to check if they are ready to launch a flagship foldable.
Although there are many mini phone fans, mini phones from Apple appears to be irrelevant and expensive, especially in the era of Covid. iPhone 12 mini contributed only 5 percent of their smartphone sales. Maybe, Apple will launch mini phones (with latest chipset) again after the Covid ends.

Seriously, would rather keep the iPad mini form factor but design it like the iPad Pro with thinner bezels. Remove Face ID if necessary. Also make the frames slightly more rigid at least.

Yes Apple is late for implementing things and Apple is a Copy Cat.
They took ages to bring in amoled displays to their iphone. And they call their rubish as inovation..

One would think you people have enough brain to be happy that more vendors offer features people ask about so you have more choice. Like, why only have Samsung as a choice if you want or need a stylus instead of having like 15 brands offering that. Heh.
