Xiaomi asking on twitt, would you prefer SAMOLED (not a top level SAMOLED screen like flagship), or very high quality LCD+120hz, i vote LCD but 😪 dummies people from india really wanted AMOLED screen, they don't know if it was a cheap AMOLED screen.
I prefer LCD + midrangers SOC such as SD750G, than having amoled plus they cutting the chipset with sd678, smooth experience is better than having AMOLED with slow response UI/Performance.

The SoC will be definitely capable of mid-tier gaming. I have a Redmi Note 9 which has a Helio G85 and I can play games, like PUBG Mobile on Medium or Rush Rally 3 on Medium - High, very smoothly. The SD678 has all 8 cores on 2,2 Ghz while the Helio G85 has 2 corres on 2 ghz and 6 cores on 1,8 ghz. Who cares if it's a beefed up SoC, based on a 5 - 6 years old SoC, when it does it's job at a still low PpP-cost? I think the most important upgrade is the AMOLED-Display, no matter if it will be only on the Pro or something Model.

Trivia, 03 Mar 2021Screen burn depends on how you use the phone. If put on hig... morei doubt the same to happen on s21 ultra. Screen burn happens mostly on cheaper devices( samsung m series have this issue most) regardless of using roughly or not.

Users are dummies. MOST importhant think on a phone is the soc. It is the soc that makes your experience smooth, powerful, no lag, no battery drainer and gaming friendly. This soc is produced on mega old 11nm (improved 14nm) which is so bad on battery and not powerful enough.

Only reason I'd like AMOLED is if it'd make them shrink the bezel, but even at that, I'd still prefer 120Hz IPS panel over 60Hz AMOLED every single day of the week.

The fact that its gonna have amoled display concerns me the most. Budget phones arent used to getting good quality amoled panels. My friend got screen burn in on his super cheap mi a3 which has an amoled display. Not an coincidence, its way better to have an ips 120 hz in this pricerange than having a low quality AMOLED display.
