The entire note 10 series is not appealing to me bcos of sd 732g. The chipset is weak.

Barry Egan, 07 Mar 2021lol these "none of the above" guys are probably a... moreNot really. I chose "none if the above" because I'm not in India but I want India's Note 10 Pro -non- Max. I personally don't like 108mp cam because it outputs 12mp.

For 5G you need a special contract with your phone company. Many people do need Unlimited bandwith data and these accounts costs a lot. Many people walk around with a 5G phone but they cant use it. So 5G is something only 0.5% probably use.

I won't buy any of these phones because they're too big, but the RN10 Pro and K40 Pro are really good. Let's hope the Mi 11 Lite is smaller and continues this trend.

Anders, 07 Mar 20215G is not in its infancy unless you live in the third world... more5G right now looks like third world technology ,much more unreliable than 4G.
Nope Apart from China every other 5G is fake 5G using low and mid band.

I was expecting pro max to come with 5g chipset. I believed it would be a slightly downgraded version of mi 10i with a lower price tag. But it is a completely different set with almost similar price as mi 10i. Most of the customer base of note series is middle class people and students who expect their phones to last at least 3 years. With 5g launch less than an year away in india i don't think this is a good proposition.

Other than SD732G + 108MP camera combination, Pro looks nice overall.

IpsDisplay, 07 Mar 2021Can't believe people think this is the greatest phone ... moreget a k40 if you want better chipset. You do miss out on headphone jack there, so, you can't have it all

Anders, 07 Mar 20215G is not in its infancy unless you live in the third world... moreI live in Ireland. Not the third world. Your comment is ludicrous. Even big countries like the UK have on average 30% coverage. I get 4g speeds of 45Mbps. This is more than adequate. Most people use WiFi most often anyway. Trading off 5g access for a 120hz smiled screen with a 240hz touch sampling rate is very fair. For 250 euros? A 108mp camera as well. You can pick holes in any phone but what do Samsung and apple offer you for 250 euros? airpods pro are over 200 euros. Apple are selling wireless earphones for a similar price to this phone. Surely you get this.

Remember, these are only 'part' of Redmi Note10 series
Last year Xiaomi also release Redmi 10X series in China, which share same disign as Redmi Note9 but different SoC.
I check the database and find there is also a unreleased version of Redmi Note10(or Redmi 11X) with Sd750G

Anders, 07 Mar 2021It's 2021 and the Note 10 Pro costs €270 but doesn... moreWell hold on. It's a budget phone. To get to the price, there has to be give and take. I believe that they have listened to the market. You lose 5G, a a rarely available technology and let's be fair, 4g and WiFi do the job pretty well as it stands. But you gain a high resolution amoled screen with a 120hz refresh rate and 200hz touch sampling. You have a 6.67" screen with a very small punch hole camera, 33w fast charging and a 108mp camera! I think that for 250, the inclusion of the above specs at the expense of 5g and OIS is a very fair trade off. It's brilliant value. Some people are just never happy unless they're moaning.

Anders, 07 Mar 2021It's 2021 and the Note 10 Pro costs €270 but doesn... moreThis has better screen than Note 10 and has 120Hz OLED from Samsung itself
5G infrastructure is still in infancy and $200 is a starting price for pro variant.
Also many clowns bought Note 10 Pro for $800 and it's now $270
It's also a testament to not spend insane amount on phone when it's value drops like a stone.
So your point moot.

I'd definitely go for a 200€-smartphone that has the same equipment as the lower-end Redmi Note 10, with the compact size of a Pixel 4a or Mi A2 Lite.
I don't wanna go back to my 2000's baggy pants just so that I carry around my 2021 smartphone inside my pockets.
