It could charge 60% in 30 mins with 5V/4A charger. Everyone was saying that it gonna kill battery. And guess what, i use this phone till today since 2016. Battery feels degraded BUT it is totally usable. So I am pretty sure this red magic 6 pro gonna last just as much. I dont know anyone who keeps phone for longer than 2 years. So people will still change their phones in most cases.

Too bad the battery is just 4.5Ah. The batteries these days should be minimum 6Ah today due to the stuff that makes it go down really fast.

bt still guys if it does full charge in 12 min thats good i mean fine they are way of bt thats a huge step remember we used to charge phones for 2 hours now in 15 minutes i can do full charge pretty sure soon will be charging our phones like green larten charging his n an instant is fully charged

Anonymous, 06 Mar 2021Someone should show you proof that modern day Fast charging... moreit does produce a lot of heat in a short time but it's only charging for 12 min instead of any hour so heat don't build up over time
also if using device while charging at 120w would ruin the battery even faster and heat would be more unless they some safety. caps

It is chemistry that charging a battery fast will put the ions under pressure which will lead to earlier degrade of overall performance.
Could also possibly damage other parts of mobile due to heating.

My Asus 550J is a gaming laptop which i bought in April 2015 for 1022 euros.
My batery lasted for like 3 years and i had to replace it for another original battery which lasted another 3 years.
Last time i swapped the batery was month ago because it barelly starting. It took like 30
to 45minutes from time i press on button until everything loaded and i was ready to use it.

That is IMPRESSIVE. however, I am still squarely in the camp of longer battery life than faster charging. This is why I prefer the ROG Phone
