The reason why phones usually don't last longer than two years is because they're used more frequently than laptops otherwise their deterioration scaling is similar. Phones can last even longer if the user knows how to care a battery.

The end of power bank. I would like to change the phone battery every couple of year than carry the buggy brick and cable.

It's easier and safer to fast charge 2 individual batteries with their BMS on each battery compared to fast charging 3 cells in series managed by only one BMS. But it is not impossible but sure is costly to implement.

Seems promising. But as someone said in the comments, this might just be the 'upscaled' product the commercial one, to promote the phone itself. just like the ps5 did when they sent better models with quieter fans. but the global version was stuck with the noisy ones. well, we'll wait and see.

Laptop battery is about long-term use, phone battery is not. After two or three years of use, your phone battery will need to change. Laptop battery can hold as long as five years, possibly even longer.

It's kinda unexpected how an average phone is charging within 40 mins of time and lasting us the whole day of crazy use, while an average laptop takes 2× the duration while also not coming close to the endurance.
