Galaxy S21 sales take series to four-year high

The company saw 590,000 sales in South Korea, the highest since the Galaxy S8.

Android phones market is so saturated with nearly identical models they just keep on bumping up numbers and rehashing same components because they don't really know anymore what new to offer. Pair that with terrible long term software support by default which in turn creates massive OS fragmentation. But Android fanboys always turn a blind eye to all this and go on and attack the Apple's offerings instead of admitting it could be better and demanding that from their vendors of choice.

Also they the only devices to have IOS. If Android was only Samsung and their was no Huawei and Xiaomi it be a different story. There is alot of competition in the android market. If you want a 5g IOS phone right now there are 4 to choose from, if you want a premium 5g android device that are ALOT to choose from.

                    People buy these because of marketing and wanting "the best phone" whilst also still being price-sensitive, certainly now. But while we might know most users can get most of the same experience with a Redmi or Realme... Well, for a start you can't get one in the largest Western market, and while I don't know about Korean availability of Chinese phones the Samsung brand power in their home market is huge.

                        I will bet that most S21 buyers are average consumers that know less about tech. I am 100% sure that most tech people won't buy this phone because of its downsides. It proves that even the S21 downsides arenthat fatal for a lot of people. Everything depends on how you look at it. Not everything is bad
