It would be like 5 to 10 y... moreI don't care about full coverage as I lived in the city core and with minimum mobility. 4G not full coverage is more in the business strategy or network topology or perhaps geographic concern. Indeed Redmi Note 10 Pro is sufficient for my needs but I hold a bit for 5G choice or decide with Poco F3.

They are not looking the phones for gaming devices or buy these for there kids as there first phones. Data plans cost a lot for phones and there are no coverage for 5G much too. There isnt even that good coverage for 4G so now think of updateing the net with new devices to send better connections speeds with 5G. Never mind that 5G building takes long time and mostly cause of the Huawei ban cause countries needed to find alternatives that cost more too

So is it some kind of a magic that you have it low even tough your very far away from the closest antennae that sends and receives the signal ? And when your that far away that you get like maybe few mbps of speed then how does the ping be good then ? Now then think about it when you get bad connection with 4G then how does it make sense that there is 5G available in these areas when there are no 4G even ? Never mind that on low end budget phones games dont even reach 30fps so it does not much matter do you have good connection if the game lags cause of the phone low hardware.

                here in india ,even the 4g network isn't achieved its full potential 😐 so i dont care about 5g , atleast for the next 2,3 years.

                    Too bad the 5G is missing from the top phone. After comparing it (the Pro) to the RealMe GT, RealMe 8 Pro and X50 Pro (old I know) and the new Redmi 40 Pro+, the price is crazy good.

                    It is a spread but for a non-gamer this is the perfect phone. 5G won't be standard until 2023, then it is time to switch again at a 250€ price tag.

                              Absolutely ridiculous that only one of them has 5G in 2021 and it's the worst phone overall too. Makes absolutely no sense. Anyone will to spend over €200 on a 4G in 2021 is utterly clueless. Buying BS that's already past its expiry date. 5G has been commercially available in Europe and the US for 18 months or so now
