Do you seriously think that that the same current will be delivered to each cell at the same rate?

And even if it does (which it won't), then won't the heat produced also be twice as much? The phone will just be a friggin grenade after that!

At a third of the way the 120W charging was 13 degrees hotter! It only got cooler as the time went by becuase a lot of the battery was already charged, so it goes slow and easy at the last few paces. We all know that keeping the battery really hot for a short period of time is worse for the battery compared to regular heat throughout the way.

          Heck, the heat of the IQOO 5 after it was DONE charging was HOTTER than that of the motorola edge S!!!! lol.

It does charge 10% faster on most currents but I don't think people what their phones breaking down within a year or two

My phone is a 3500mah Samsung A41 and charges to full within an hour with 25W charging. I personally think that it will be 1 5000mah battery at 200W and full charge in under 20 minutes. I don't expect the battery to have a long life though, 200W is a lot for a battery to take in

                  for all those .. xiaomi tech is nothing new. they split the battery so it charges faster. oppo and realme done tat bfor. so if 3000mah bat charge for 1 hr. if u split into 4. 750mah then it charges full in 15min !

                                        Good charging tech can't exist without good battery tech.
                                        The ordinary bateries can't charge with ultra fast charging, specially designed batteries are used for this purpose. These batteries have more than twice the amount of charging cycles compared to regular lower quality batteries found in Sony or Apple phones.
