used xiaomi MIUI in 5 inch screen was ok. jump to 6 or 6.7 inch become very annoying. now 8 inch. it will be very boring UI like mi tv.

This is awesome, I don’t even care about the crease, I’d still be really happy to have a phone like that. It will most probably be super expensive, though. And the name Mi Mix 4 Pro Max is rather awkward.

Proud to be part of the premium Ecosystem of Android where foldables are a reality and already mastered by the likes of Samsung.
Xiaomi and others will help bring the price down. If it were for Apple, we'd still be stuck with tiny 4.0 inch screen.

Hopefully this can replace my MI max 3 which was my third Xiaomi Max phone. I still have it and refused to upgrade since nothing big (and wide) out there especially from Xiaomi which has been a big disappointment for those of us often ignored who like it big (and wide).
These days phone just are too slim and long for some of us. Some of us can handle big phones in one hand and we'll just have to take this as the nearest replacement to the MI Max series and Mate 20X generation.

Ugh now that MKBHD and all those other people who have no clue what's best for folding phones have addressed their opinions, all folding phones are going to be folding inwards. It makes zero sense. Zero sense for structural reasons, thus zero sense for durability reasons, zero sense for screen to body ratio reasons, zero sense for practicality reasons. Absolute nonsense.
They develop the widely loved Mi Mix Alpha then go back to this trash. Why. All the R&D was already there.
