Pre-order delays for iPhone 5 grow to 3-4 weeks in the US

There will be delays for Ugly Overpriced Appel...becoz they are busy suing everyone including grocery store instead of focusing on shipment and production..

I respect Apple for their technical expertise but let’s face it there is an element of their core fan base that would quite happily part with large amounts of money for a cardboard cut-out phone if Apple marketed it as the next big thing.
iPhones sell on the strength that they are iPhones, and that's pretty much it. Whilst I don't doubt this will be a good handset (as all iPhones are) it is not the step forward Apple has become world renowned for.
The success of the iphone as a concept means that Apple no longer needs to work hard, they can simply sit back and continue to refine what is in their minds (and in the minds of many of their customers) the perfect Phone. True innovation is for those looking to get to the top, which is why we are seeing what are probably the best phones Nokia have produced in many years, it’s because they are no longer number 1 and now have to work that much harder.
If the iPhone 5 was not to be the huge sales success that Apple were hoping for, then you would see them get really creative and innovative with the iPhone 6, But judging by this and many other articles it looks as though the IP5 will break all the current sales records and spent probably the next year as the worlds number 1 selling handset. That being the case you can expect the IP6 (or most likely the IP5S) be just another minor step forward.

As usual I have been telling you that iPhone 's fooling days are coming to an en can fool people for some time but not all the time. They are now rushing to correct the mistakes.. good luck, htc is waiting for you in the mwc 2013 Feb.

That's why its incredible news for Apple, indicating a stellar launch.

These are for the new pre-orders, indicating that the initial stockpile of millions have sold out. The new orders will have to wait as new units become available from the factory.
That's why this is incredible news regarding the iPhone launch, as Apple already stockpiled many units to cope with demand.

Delay in supplies is for all markets, which means that they do not have any finished levels ... Which means that they simply try the market, how will accept their "new" phone.

Its not really delayed if at the start of pre ordering the device the expected waiting time has been announced.

Poor form Apple!
It was always evident that i5 sales will surpass i4S, and even to be conservative it would at least match i4S. So not being prepared to have that amount of stock ready for launch is really hard to believe.
Either they didn't have the stock all along but went ahead with a release date they could not achieve, or they have the stock and are delaying.
So poor behaviour or a (typical) sales a ploy? Either way inexcuseable - both just serve the purpose to drive up sales hype & frenzy.
Another example that it's their profits that Apple care most about, not their customers. Buy their products if they suit you best, but people should think twice about being blindly loyal to a company that not only overcharges for their customers (world's highest profiting company = highest profit margins per product), it makes you intentionally wait for the privilige of doing so.

Those phones will end up being in shelves..its a good dust collector..This phone uses Samsung's technology and HTC's design for a metal clad body...but even then..you drop an iphone..it shatters like a crispy potato chip.. Note 2 and HTC's new phablet will eat Crapple Iphone 5 and Razr will slice it clean through...
