    It sounds like a nanowire battery life. A technology that was to come out early last decade as silicon nanowire. This might be one one of the other ones. At last, a battery life suitable for good 4k+ video recording datarates.

You're missing out on a few 4G bands and the most important being B32. You can achieve speeds of up to 600mbps over 4G on this band, but like I mentioned, the Chinese imported handsets do not support this.

                  Oh the hype is rising! Hopefully Xiaomi will nail this one, fingers crossed

The cameras are significantly better than the k40pro though but it's around 25% more expensive basically for the cameras. Personally I'd prefer the k40pro than the Oneplus 9 apart from the cameras but the camera setup on the k40pro is a downgrade on the k30 Pro even. Pity they didn't release a camera centric version like the k30 Pro zoom last year

And if you think Xiaomi the only ones collecting data try a little experiment if you think Google or apple or whoever don't do the same things. Put your phone down near you and talk about something specific within hearing range like a make of car or a place you'd like to go on holiday and then take a look at what ads you get on Google about cars or holidays. The only way you will avoid these big companies 'spying' if that's what you want to call it on you is get rid of all your tech and delete every account you have. Personally I don't hold any government secrets so don't mind them sending me ads that I may actually be interested in. And regards to security the only things you can do are be careful what you click on or download onto your phone or computer and don't reply to dodgy messages or emails etc. I'm no fanboy to Xiaomi or any particular brand but I do like what Xiaomi are doing in the tech space at this time and as a UK user I'll take my chances with Chinese brands as they offer incredible pieces of kit at great prices.
