Problem is that some fanboys compare Apple company with the whole Android ecosystem, just to prove some points. Which is unfair and also incorrect.
Not to mention they put too much credit on Xiaomi recent percentage increase. Which is good, but is good also because of Huawei downfall.
Xiaomi phones are good for their price, but are far from perfect. And there are a lot of unsatisfied customers too. Is just that the satisfied ones have bigger mouths online. If you follow some facebook or reddit Xiaomi groups, you will see how many people have problems with their phones.

Build quality and camera performance was a shambles. So I sold the 6s at a loss once the Samsung Note FE (Asia model only) came out.
I switched back to the iPhone (11), the screen is poor, the phone thermal throttles easily, but other than that it is a nice phone to use. Now that I’ve swapped for a 2nd hand iPhone 12 Pro Max from Marketplace, I have only few complaints. I had two more Samsungs before then, all which are lemons. The Realme X2 Pro I bought years ago suffered from touch response issues (even as advertised 180Hz), then RUI came out and it was horrendous. Sold it quickly. This is what happened to me for following the hype of the people in the so called comment section.

I'm presently using the iPhone 11 Pro Max and it's my first ever Apple product. I also carry a Note 10 Plus. I plan to keep the 11PM until the 14PM comes out. I use BLACK wallpapers on my home and lock screens on all phones so the notch has never disturbed me. I really enjoy FACE ID when my mask is off. Even in the dark it works well.Having TOUCH ID would be great. Apple should have included it in their iPhone 13 series due to the pandemic. However it must be said that there are many other features that iPhones should possess that they presently lack. I'm amazed the Apple Pencil isn't compatible with iPhone screens. I like like their ecosystem and my next laptop will be an Apple one. I get my Android needs met through my Note 10 Plus and waiting with anticipation for next year's Note Ultra.

[deleted post]Yeah, everyone hyping this. I've been there. Tried 150 launchers and themes. Just to realize they are all rubbish and then I just resorted back to whatever launcher I had on X brand of phone. Everyone hyping customization which is ultimately always garbage experience. On iPhone, it's just that one. If you like it, you're using it, if you hate it so much, you're probably not using an iPhone. How is this any different than Xiaomi with ever so hated MIUI? Just because you stick a launcher on top of it, entire MIUI is still running in the background. With launcher on top everything just looks even more inconsistent. That's just the reality of it.

[deleted post]Second space, dual apps, split screen multitasking any many more features were missed by me while I was on iPhone 11.
Feels refreshing to be back on Android and actually put a powerful chipset to full use through software.
Android is just more convenient and easy right down to the budget range of 200€ phones. A 1000 plus dollar iPhone not being able to do what budget phones can flawlessly.... Wow....
I guess that's probably the reason why a billion more people bought Android last year.
These guys can say that those billion people didn't have the money.... I say Why spend more if one is getting better device or cheaper?? My mi 10t pro is so much better than iPhone 12, cost me 200€ less. There are so many choices under the 400€ segment which are better than 800€ iPhone in many ways. Why pay more?

Each year they bring some new colour/colours to the lineup. Even though looks insignificant, is very nice for marketing purposes and I know some people changed their iphones just because they wanted a particular colour that wasn’t in previous years, lol.

Paid? :D They don’t need to paid anything because iOS developers actually wants to develop stuff because they know people will use them if they are well done, just like iOS widgets are. They all look like they could have been designed by Apple and they all fit together and the reason for that is very simple, there’s just one iOS Ui, so it’s very easy to make good looking widgets. Unlike with Android where you have all these different Ui skins from Android companies and yet you only have one widget Ui from the 3rd apps, so of course it doesn’t fit to Ui, except the fews. But overall Android widgets just doesn’t feel like part of OS and that’s why people aren’t using them.

So much wrong with this comment. SMH. Only thing iOS does better with widgets are the stacked ones and it's not like they all look similar. If I stack the weather one with say news, I can't theme it for all the colors to look similar.
I've seen so many videos on YouTube using iOS widgets because I was planning to customize it. Even the most creative ones. None of them look good to me. It's because they're usually rectangular and with lines and borders. It's like old MySpace. The best MySpace pages had div layouts. Look it up on Google images. It wasn't the typical look that was themed. While iOS has the boring MySpace page look.

If you look at the best customized Android homescreens, they don't even look like the grid row of icons if done right. I don't use widgets anyway. I just swipe to the left to check weather, news, and my favorite team's sports scores.
Customized homescreens for both platforms gets boring. The ones who attempt on iOS makes them look like MySpace. Even more cluttered. I stick to the basics. I see an app and tap on it. And widgets suck more battery life on standby. It's like turning on push notifications. Been there done that with customized homescreens. Nobody really cares whether your's is different than their's.
