Normally (without a mask) the software says “Yes” and unlocks the phone
But when you are wearing a mask it gets confused because half the face is a match but the other half is not recognized so the software says “No, try again”

The score method is a very easy way of fixing this which you mentioned earlier but Apple has already found a workaround for this while Samsung is still struggling

Apple introduced stacked widgets and paid third-party apps to make better widgets than Android. And, of course, advertised heavily.

https://youtu.be/4AEQMshjHxs This video pretty much shows how ugly mess Android widgets overall are and they just look dull and boring, no wonder why no-one use them.

And like the guy on the video says, have you actually ever seen anyone using any other Android widgets than the one which are stock.

They finally add back fingerprint sensor, after a year wearing masks where their face id was useless af x)

If the notch is still as big as in the render, it's a joke.

Norwegian Gangster , 27 Mar 2021Lol Fastest in what?? Paper benchmarks?? Nope, the iPhone 12 wipes all competing phones in terms of overall real-world performance and even sustained performance. Throttling was a serious issue on the iPhone 11, it will throttle at least 15% but can exceed 40% for the Pro model. The iPhone 12 throttles very little (just 5% or less), not the best gaming performance but it does have the best efficiency compared to SD888 etc.

Canadian Pilgrim, 27 Mar 2021BS. Apple face Recognition is superior to anything android... moreOnly thing that came close was Google's Soli, but they dropped it for whatever reason. Apple on the other hand tends to stick with stuff and perfect it. FaceID is one of those things. Non iPhone users mostly rage over and poke Apple about the whole mask thing, but it's really far less of an issue than they are making it to be. We're suppose to be at home anyways where you don't wear mask and those times you're out, just smacking in PIN isn't end of the world. And with new update Apple Watch users will have that part covered so it'll be even less of an issue. I had fingerprint reader and it was fine, but FaceID is just much more seamless and I like it more. Pretending fingerprint reader is flawless is annoying. You need to add all 10 fingers basically if you want to unlock it regardless of conditions, with face, it's just 1. And if it's back side fingerprint scanner it's even dumber to use when phone is on table as you have to pick it up and use it, even more than leaning over iPhone for face to unlock it. So they both have cons and pros and just ends being what you prefer more. I just happen to prefer FaceID more despite the whole mask thing and I don't feel the slightest shame in that.

Just having widgets since 2010 doesn't make them better if they are still stuck in that year quality wise. Just the stacked widget alone in iOS is better than anything I've ever seen or used on any Android phone and it's just something as simple as dragging multiple widgets into one that becomes scrollable. Having widget actually perfectly aligning with icons is something almost unthinkable on Android phones. Often even the stock ones that come with the phone. But whatevers, you'll regurgitate same old tired arguments how widgets on iOS are terrible and we're just laughing in near perfection.

All the widgets on iOS looks like they are part of iOS Ui. That’s actually why people like them. Regardless of the opinions of those that either loathe, or in one way or another object to Apple's products, the best and most authentic are the self-deprecating comments made from within the frolicking hearding bleeeting community. The quoted comment above is an absolute gem that resoundingly self-assures the beleaguered community into the acceptance of, and I quote, "[a] hideous and obtrusive" notch.

Never has truer words been spoken about the notched iPhone. So much so, this quoted comment would fetch $millions in an NFT auction.
