It's not even about the IP68. Mi series just have not had 3.5mm jack and SD for there last 4-5 generations.
These phones that are built for best camera and cpu are not made for the people who play games and listen music a lot. Never mind that these phones are in the price range where people already use wireless headphones anyways.

Device does not get "more IPed" if jack is removed.
Many phones with jack + IP68 have been made over the years.
It was just another lie from Apple to hide the fact they were planning to boost wireless gear sales.

You still get some face distortions with wide. And 120mm is too much.
But I understand they needed to sacrifice it to save space for larger wide, UW and more battery.

Its like 900€ more than the poco f3 / k40
It doesn't worth +900€, but still cheaper than samsung and apples launch price at 1400 € or 1399

Problem with periscope, brands have to choose between longer FL with smaller sensor or shorter FL with larger sensor to avoid the bump to be too big.
Samsung S21U has 240mm vs 104mm S20U, but S20U has imx586 like Xiaomi.

Now this is the definition of overkill and cutting-edge, Xiaomi is making the least compromises for this phone and putting a lot of pride with that massive price tag which still isn't as pricey as Huawei P40 Pro+. On paper, this looks like it would be the best phone of the year. Also, it's been a long time since I last saw a phone with a rear screen and now Xiaomi is bringing it back which is a gimmick but that's how it stands out from the crowd.
