I just compared some shots from the weekend and the iPhone 12 was noticeably better in the high-dynamic scenes, where the S21 overprocessed and looked much worse on a large monitor.

"7P" always means 7 Plastic elements, not 7 Pieces. Same thing applies for all industrial, medical, drone etc lenses.

You cant bend glass elements like plastic ones. They will break all the time. LG used one glass element in V30 (rest were plastic) which was just slightly curved and still they never returned back to this idea, because you have this problem even with one simple element.
Based on that + bigger aperture (so bigger size) we can be 100% sure Apple wont use all-glass lens, because it would make camera bump a lot bigger. Kuo already reported that Face ID will use plastic lenses instead of glass to make it smaller because as I said plastic elements can be bend in a lot of ways so it one plastic element can work like two glass elements.

Also, I doubt Apple will gonna make one anytime soon, as is preparing to release a new ipad Mini generation.
For me is better to have an iphone and an ipad, separately. Especially in this days when we stay mostly at home. I never liked combos or 2 in 1's anyway. People think they are the best of both worlds, but I am seeing them as worse of both worlds.

All right, but how about focusing on increasing the sensor size, improving the JPEG processing and getting rid of that awful glares from the lens first? Else they will be left further behind by the competition.
