At the same price as the S21 Ultra here, these phones don't justify their prices. Samsung made a better OnePlus than OnePlus with the S20 FE 5G (which also undercuts the OnePlus 8's price here). Hopefully they flop and realize that their forte was affordability, not embodying a "wannabe".
Prices are for Canada. OnePlus sells its devices here directly, so there's no "importer's overhead".

Samsung is market dominant and sets the bar for flagships for 15 years.there is no reason to opt out from s21+ to 9pro with so similar price.so simple.

One Plus 9 Pro have problems in Spain with 5G Network and Movistar band (don´t connect). If you live in Spain and read it, don´t buy it. Google it or read in Amazon people telling it.

I for one am still using my İPhone 6S and if you do the math the total cost of this device for me has been 9 dollars a month. People are not stupid if you are buying a flagship you are going to use it like a flagship and most importantly you will surely use it until it becomes unuseable. You see I will buy the İphone 13 Pro Max for 1100 dollars and I will use it until the İPhone 18 comes out

behind oneplus there is the electronic BBK group which brings together Oppo, realme and Vivo so Oneplus is a strategy he can afford to sell few smartphones like when he was there to cut prices and kill brands like LG or HTC, Oneplus is not alone and works closely with Oppo

One Plus has had a dream. To have the Apple Iphone HYPER and make your customers believe that they are distinguished by buying their phones. Marketing it´s not all. Expensive prices, neither. Quality and competitive price in android it´s the way, overall quality, not 8Pro screens with black crush issues, for example. Or all time curved screens. And of course, telezooms needed, not silly cameras.

Unless you live in India the aftermarket support and accessories for Oneplus phones is a joke compared to Samsung , whenever i need to buy a screen protector or case for my oneplus i have to rely to ebay/AliExpress, instead of just taking a walk to the supermarket , and let's not get me started about that i had to ship overseas my op6 for a fault.

The seems now bloating their firmwares with who knows what bloatware... There are different firmwares of the, "in theory", the same phones for a reason. Are they unlockable in all regions? What are they hiding by dividing their versions? Bloatware? Is the hardware the same or not and each firmware need different drivers and terms?
It's normal that now their old fans prefer other brands. No more flagship killers. No more clean OxygenOS that, at the end, is only a skin/theme. "Never Settle..." in prices every year, of course, but now with some mediocre midrangers and all their phones overpriced. At the premium prices they are asking, they still don't have local customers services less in few places. So if you have a problem that always implies transport, insurance and headaches. Also accepting their foreign terms and conditions... Etc.
When you are paying premium prices you also want premium local customer services. Something they lack.

Who cares? Bottom line is anyone that spends a thousand bucks on a phone is a lunatic. You can buy body parts for less lol. You can buy a motor that will just about get the job done for that. You can pay for a very good holiday with that. See the world, climb a mountain, go bungee jumping or whatever floats your boat. This is a phone. Like, a phone. It won't cook you breakfast or brush your teeth. It makes calls, sends messages and you can go on the internet on it. It's not a laptop like. It's a small screen. Just ridiculous that people pay it and most are idiots who shackle themselves to a contract for two or three years to pay for it. Insanity.

Haha... When you think you are bigger than what you really are, you end up like Oneplus. It's a shame that they've fallen this far. Samsung didn't have to kill them, Oneplus did it by themselves. It'll be interesting, how long they last in the ultra premium category? 2 years? 5 years? Let's see

There's probably more but these are all i could think off of the top of my head.
The S21 Ultra definitively is the way better value proposition in the ultra high end market, especially with OneUI actually being not shit now.

Cameras are much better on s21. OP just hyped their cameras instead of improving them.
