If Samsung wants to fix Exynos, only they could do it. But, I think they don't even want to at this point. They are so full of confidence (ahhm sh*t), that they think they could do just about anything and people will still buy their inferior Exynos models.

At the most they'll upgrade to IMX 686 as it can do 4K60fps ,6K30fps ,1080p960fps ,etc. Along with dual pixel AF. It's a reasonably big sensor (1/1.7") too.
Software will do rest of the job.

I just hope the front punch hole display from pixel 5 still remains the same for pixel 6...the subtle symmetry of bezels is a thing of beauty though

They should use upcoming exynos 12xx which is rumored to have AMD gpu. Exynos 1080 already has a powerful cpu with four ARM A78 cores.
