The display is not curved, you can read from the edges. Sony has two front-facing speakers. A 3.5mm jack and microSD memory expansion are basic features not retained by other brands. Evolution is progress, and Sony is the only one not walking backwards. Even Asus has stopped offering one basic feature: microSD memory expansion. Furthermore, Sony does not produce in China, a country which has brought us the corona pandemic and is famous for human rights violations.

mr mode on photo pro is a nifty feature...
4k 120 fps video recording too as it was not available on 1ii out of the box...
and some small changes on ui...
if it shows bugs, i will just reset it new or use pc companion as advised by fellow user over reddit and fb group where i am in...
you might try those...
or sell those at cheaper price and get yourself a phone without bugs...

I'm watching closely xperia 3 appearance. Very interested in camera department particularly. I doubt it will have newest gen big sensor, which would be a shame really. But I hope images will not be overdone with HDR like Samsung does. Dedicated camera button is also useful.

Anonymous, 07 Apr 2021That makes my 3 years old s10 on android 11 :)Pretty sure S10 is only 2 years old but ok. Also Samsung scrapped a lot of good stuf like variable aperture, expandable storage etc since then- so worth holding onto nonetheless.

I actually bought an Xperia 5 (mk1) and 1 ii - both of them suffered from poor GPS, weaker than normal reception, slower than expected OS, poor cameras and a litany of random bugs.
The other day my 1 ii randomly decided to cancel all incoming and outgoing calls on Bluetooth in the car - as a result I no longer trust the phone.
I've given them a fair shot and I'm done.
Not worth the money.
