Why 6 phones? These should have been 2-3 Max, so uninspiring feature set, design. Nokia really needs to step up it's game with some usp, maybe xenon flash, maybe pop up camera, etc.

Everyone got excited when we knew the Nokia phones were on there way back,but HMD have really let the Nokia phones down,with rubbish chips and pricing,we thought Nokia would be Challenging Samsung again,but not one Nokia phone made by HMD as put any pressure on Samsung,HMD seems to have bought Nokia trying to improve there profile,but its not working at All,hope someone can buy Nokia back and get them producing Premium phones instead of budget ones,at get them back to Number 1 again

I love you Nokia, but you're gonna have to take the L on this one. I love what you provide and I think some of your phones were great, Like 5, 6.1, 7+ and 3.4
But looking at X20 and X10. It's enough to make me laugh. What kind of person would go for that phone when you can get a Pixel 4a for much cheaper and it outperforms the X20 in every aspect apart from battery life and 5G?
Worse of all, you have the audacity to not include a charger lmao.
I hope y'all crash and burn. And update my 2.2 to Android 11 while y'all are at it
G20 and G10 suck too. They look straight outta 2019 both in design and specs
C20 and C10 are ok... But those are for elderly people so...
Also stop making phones large if you are gonna still slap a 720p screen. Its unnecessary

You cant compare them with phones that have features to use all that chip power. If 480 is only able do record 1080p video and probably cant do a lot of things cause it lacks the features that 6xx and 7xx series chips have. And if HMD is targeting third world country market then the 5G is useless for them. These countries probably dont even have decent coverage of 4G even then to talk about 5G

1. Pur... moreThese 3 reasons are for the people who dont buy low end budget phones. People who buy low end budget phones dont even hope to get any udates so they go with the best hardware they get for the money so these phones last for a while.
It makes no sense to buy already old hardware in the low end range and hope it last after it gets 3 android updates that will most likely make the device slower cause they take more resource. Cause they are not optimizing the android to play well on low end devices.
And then there X series is already too high price where you have way better option in every department of what you need out of phone. As these X series dont even have decent cameras on them as they also are made for low end budget phones. For up to 350 euro you get pretty good camera phones already while the phones dont lack on other departments too.

Sd 480 scores 507(single core)... moreBut the 720g can do 4k recording while Snapdragon 480 tops out at 1080p.
Even a six year Old Snapdragon 650 series chip with cortex A72 could do 4k30.

HMD Global was created by former high ranked Nokia employees. HMD Global's headquarter is inside Nokia's (headquarter) campus in Finland.
After the breakup of Microsoft and Nokia Corp., Nokia couldn't use it's own brand-name to built again mobile phones immediately afterwards, to build new Nokia phones (because of some licenses (i heard somewhere that they will run out in~2024). They had to create a new mobile phone company, WITHOUT financial support and very limited development support of the mother company. I bet after that period of time, Nokia will come back, as strong as they where in the '00.

Anonymous, 11 Apr 2021sd 480 actually performs better than sd 675 but worse than ... moreGeekBench 5 algo gives a better score to SD675. Better in single corre a marginally lower in multicore. But again we are talking of a 3 years old SoC vs the latest 4XX one. Put an even if you want in benchmark or similar performance between them.
But benchmarks are not all. That doesn't hide that the SD480 lacks the extra features that the Mid-range SoCs have like the HDR support, better display capabilities, better audio support and amplification, better image processing for cameras, etc. So at the end overall the OLD SD675 is still a more capable SoC. And sure that there are in the market old phones with SD675 a lot better than the X20 and also a lot cheaper. Imagine if you put it against the actual mid-range phones in the price range they are asking around 350 euros. The X20 will lose in any comparative.
