Problem with Blackberry is not with UI, problem is with extra payment for full function of the phone. Phone itself is very expensive, and on top of that you need to pay extra service. If Blackberry do not change something soon they will go bust. They have to allow to every user to enjoy all benefits of platform without extra payment. But if they can not live without that payment they should charge only to those people who need special encryption for safer data but all function of the phone must be available to all users.

Anonymous, 26 Sep 2012*cough cough*...... swipe was introduce first by blackbery ... more"cough cough" swipe implemented in Nokia n9 was never the same as others, the whole UI rested in the palm of a swipe and in any direction you would ever like
PS: all phones nowadays use swipe but not as Nokia N9 did and god knows how handy the phone was
so cough cough in another direction please

Anonymous, 26 Sep 2012Oh my!!!it looks like the n9 and lumia 800.yeah looks similar to N9 UI with little more tweaks and still appears fresh and nice UI. Device looks kind of hybrid combo of Lumia 800 and Xperia P. i'd prefer Balckberry over android any day, if i had only these two choices. BB UI looks more functional and useful than Android and with this UI it has some eye-candy factor as well.

Seems everyone who wants a New Flagship should just strip out Nokia's rotten software and stash in a new one and wala! Nokia should start suing before Apple patents 'suing-everyone'

Seems Nokia is doing a badjob not suing anybody. coz HTC,Apple, Blackberry and many other manufactures are copying their external designs.

its like BlackBerry tring to stay out of mobile market
                              everything is taking them slow
if they want to stay alive they need to speed up things over there

                              Best of luck to BB

Great! Finally there's a phone other than Jolla to look forward to after my N9 retires. Just like a phoenix that will just rise from the ashes of the burning platform and become even better! Go for it BB!

I want a mobile phone - not something where people get orgazmic over the speed at which one can move a widget, or customisation. If prefer a key board, and use a BB9900. plus I also have a Note 1. Frankly I just use the BB for most use. Cannot be bothered playing games. The Note is excellent for presentations, and camera. My preference is for a new BB keyboard product when it comes out, hopefully with a decent camera. Dont need a brick, just something practical, excellent reception and clarity. All the best to RIM. Get it right.
