          1iii are periscope with 2 separate focal length, x3 & x4.4. Not x3 to x4.4.

I have it set up on my 5II just as any other phones NightMode, giving me out natural looking night shots with minimum noise, no excessive exposure, and with great detail.
            So yah, Xperias do have an adjustable NightMode, just it is not called that way.

              I Like how Sony is going on about it’s own business and making these unique handsets. Bravo Sony!

                Find X3 pro is the best with natural looking images, day or night.
                You see what your eyes see.
                For more tinkering, there is manual mode.

                              Now we have powerful and efficient SoC's and the current panel is 3840×1644p 21:9 cropped 4K.
                              Both SD 865 and 888 can power QHD+(3200×1440p) at 144Hz (663 million pixels per second) and Xperia 1 iii have 757 million pixels per second.
                              Qualcomm did it before with it's ISP for high resolution Quad Bayer sensors. They launched that chip with upto 25MP camera support and later said it can support 48MP.
