Anonymous, 14 Apr 2021Will you drop refresh rate to 60hz on Xperia 5 III? If I'm not doing mobile gaming, yes - I will drop it to 60Hz all the time. Even though I only activate 120Hz for mobile gaming, I don't really do it very often. If I want to conserve the battery, I'll just stick to 60Hz.

These phones come with a 30W charger in the box. Where are those Sony naysayers who criticise fast charging? Changing their tune as usual.

Midrangers with 8GB ram and only 12mpix camera for a price where other brands offers premium flagship devices i am very dissapointed from Sony.
      They failed.
Soon or later they end like LG if they will follow this trend.

BliTTzZ, 14 Apr 2021And then you will skip it for mark V? Just kidding. :) ... moreSony baloney can't beat Huawei, Oppo, Xiaomi, Vivo or Oneplus

For 10 iii, I don't think I'll be upgrading it over last year's 10 ii. Sure that the 10 iii's 4,500mAh battery capacity is a healthy bump over 10 ii's 3,600mAh, but everything else apart from the chipset remains the same. Since the 5G network is still not a thing here in Malaysia, I don't think I'd be rushing to buy the 10 iii anytime soon.

As usual, my eyes are on the 5 iii. Sure that the 1 iii's 4K 120Hz screen sounds tempting, but I'd be more than happy to trade higher screen resolution for longer battery life and the 5 iii's FHD resolution is more than good enough for me. Also, the 5 iii is smaller than the 1 iii though I expect to see the return of the Xperia Compact name which wasn't meant to be. Now that even Samsung has removed the microSD card slot for the S21 series and LG no longer producing smartphones, I'd be eyeing on the 5 iii despite the lack of FM Radio chip.

Making it less wider. Plus it goes into the pocket much easier. Well compared to these Ultra and Plus phones we have.

Why does Sony insist on this extremely tall aspect ratio? I can't stand their tall, thin phones.

                        Excellent line up.
Feels like z3 series especially on xperia 5 Mark 3

Just kidding. :) I will do the same. My 5 mark 1 will be alive for at least 2 more years for sure.

                            4K@120Hz will be simultaneous...oh...my...goodness.

I'm glad they confirmed the Speakers and DAC are improved as that was one of the minor things I wanted Sony to fix.

I'm still bummed about the 4,500mAH battery. Running that display needed to be at 5,000mAH minimum...

man, I hope these phones do well.
