Arod, 16 Apr 2021true, idk why teens like iphones so damn much, like why t... moreYeah, Apple already blocked 3rd party repairs on the 12 series ( basically the phone won't work properly even if the components are original, just from other iPhone 12 ) so it's already a BIG L for Apple and their poor users that don't have or don't want to pay that much for a phone repair at Apple. Plus the lack of fast charging and bigger refresh rates in 2021 scares me. There's a video on youtube about the 3rd party repair ban on the 12 series. I was once in the same boat about how everything had to be "open" and "crammed full of the latest technology", so that's why I have always had android until now. Nowadays, I've realized how little I care for and use these features. I guess my priorities have changed since then. It's not always about the newest and greatest.

im switching to oneplus from samsung because i want to experience the smoothness and the clean android with oxygen OS, has 30 watt charging and thats enough for me, and for overnight charging i would just use a standard 5 watt charger
yes i know 5G hasn't matured and thats why i aint getting no 5g phone until 2022-2023
thats why im getting the OP 7t, just for the good ol 4G

t... morelets be honest for a sec here, you don't really need a 65watt charging speed, it will ruin your battery on the long run, all you need is a 30w charger in the box but would be nice if the phone supports a 65w charging speed for those that actually use their phones every minute of the day, selling an 800$ iphone with a 15w charging speed (while the charger isn't included) is s straight up scam, android companies are giving 50w chargers out of the box when you buy a 220 euro phone.
and for 5g, its just a gimmick now, not a necessity.

How's that ridiculous? Most of people don't live their lives in smartphone 24/7. In fact, i have Huawei P30 Pro, which came with 40W charger (pretty strong back then). And guess what. I have never used it. Charging my phone with my Lumia 950XL 18W charger. Takes about 1,5 hours or so, never measured.. Thankfully, i have other things in my life, so it's not 'wasted time'. :-)

the true reason i dont use iphones because
1.IOS is too simple,plus the lack customization makes the user experience boring, plus heavily restricted
2.iphone designs are boring (expect the 12 series) from the original iphone to the 8, same lame designs,until the iphone x, again the same lame thing
3. same camera sensors (in mega pixels) no wonder camera quality is the same all these years, android rivels are ahead its game when in terms of cameras (samsung and xiaomi already with 108mp cameras)
4.slow charging,(its really getting on my last nerves) 1+ with 65 watt charging and with xiaomi 100 watt charging (WOW), its not 2011 apple
5.always coming late, galaxy s6 at a IP rating and wireless charging, iphone 7 finally got a IP rating and the the iphone 8 with wireless charging, LG and samsung were the first with 5G phones in 2019 Q1, iphone 12 IN 2020 Q4 finally with 5G
