The pixel on the other hand gives you a gorgeous pic 9/10 times in Auto mode without any tweaking.

They are inferior to three times cheaper Pixel 4 indeed. I saw it, noticed it straight away. Don't care about calibration or anything like that. Pixel 4 screen is just brighter and have better colours to my opinion. Outdoor screen visibility issue on Mark IIs is obvious. Nothing to argue here. It's just a fact.

If you have not been informed. People that calibrate the Xperia are same people that work on those $30.000,00 Sony oled master monitors used by Sony Pictures.
Xperia has much better calibration than Bravia.
People need to learn that what those sponsored reviewers call "washed out" is much more accurate than the "punchy" ..

Shutter button is better for me, because I can lock AF and move camera a little and make bokeh in place I want, and I can lock exposure and its more stable for me.

And battery life is ware more important than fast charging for most people. Just because you replace your cheap chinese phones twice a year doesn't mean people who spend decent money on actually good phones will do the same nonsense upgrading.

The issue last year was that the Xperia phones weren't 5G here as opposed to Europe (for whatever reason...not like they dropped the price or anything...).
Now the newest ones are set to have band 71 and they are working on mmWave certification so I'm totally getting it once it's released. I got a Best Buy card aching for that phone.
