    How they managed a headphone jack and ip68 rating? To be honest that statement have very low reliablity, because the sony phones have a reliablity of a russian leader. You have to be a true sony fanatic to Purchas one. So ask yourself are you nevelny enough for that sony?

It's instantly obsolete if you travel, switch carriers, or if your carrier shuffles radio bands. It's a premium phone that's not as good as LG's midrange Velvet 5G in many ways. It's cursed by LG's mix of excellence and mediocrity.

        I have a Velvet 5G and these Xperias might be a big enough jump forward to make me switch phones early.

        Let me check for software updates... Android 10, Feb 1 security patch. LG mediocrity.

Just look at not less impressive specs of Xperia 1 II and what you will get in the end - subbar photo quality regardless of app used is guaranteed. Unfortunately hardware specs is not the key for success and Sony proved it many times in negative way.

              One thing to ask: has Sony Mobile quit the US? Need some Americans to confirm that, as I still want to see the MkIII impressing different markets

Motorola is the only phone maker I've seen get kicked off a band (VoLTE band 12) for screwing it up. Recent phones have added 5G bands, VoNR, and LTE+NR after launch because the operating environment for testing and debugging wasn't ready on time.

                      Trully staggering camera setup. 20fps with touch tracking and Eye lock on all sensors and
                      varifocal lens. Sony AF is even a little better than Canon. Camera video recording 4K HDR 120fps and games recording @120fps. Soon I will test it. :) See Ya on YT.

                          5 and 10 this year seem really interesting to me. Hopefully the cameras on the 10 will be enough for my needs... If not, I'll buy the 5 :)

                            Some people disappointed about Charging rate 30w only for $1300
                            Even low end Chinese phone got 33w 😂 its OK.
                            But Sony promised 3years of Healthy battery and trust me iam using 2018 poco f1 only 18w its only takes 1h10-20min to full charge with 6H sot gaming coc,ml,cod.
                            4500mah (😱😱for sony look previous years)30W with those promised wow beautiful cameras(now with auto HDR no need to got to manual mode now like Chinese phone that u love🤓)features-20fps,dual eye lock🥴lol I can't name all), headphone jack, IP,oled 4k 1b colour🥴,stereo speaker, and no need to talk about xperia hardware.
                            Good for you who can affort for it
                            Iam sad that I can only effort $400 smartphones🤓.

                              Oh boy, arena is sure taking full advantage of this Sony related news. I mean this is the 5th or 6th post I see about this in the last 3 days. And the comments are pouring in. For a company that is not important in the mobile world (according to some), they sure attract a lot of attention. Why is that I wonder? Probably liking Chinese brands and hating on the other ones is a “new thing” these days. Of course, now a Xiaomi fan will try to tell me how their phones are the best on the market and how they will reach no.1. Don’t bother, I usually ignore those comments and people.
                              But, it seems this people are not ignoring Sony, Apple or Samsung posts. I am guessing I will see them starting from tomorrow on the Apple related posts. Under anonymous nicknames of course.

Personally I like iPhone-like notches, use excellent Wireless buds for ages and can't fill up even 64GB of storage for years. Cheers!
