blue.sun, 20 Apr 2021They were not banned. They just refused to bend head before... moreLOL. The CCP doesn't even allow TicToc in China, instead running a purely Chinese version with Chinese censorship. But it pushes propaganda in the US. Chinese companies and China are the worst offenders in industrial espionage and take advantage of democratic rules to push the CCP's long-term goals. There is a big difference between imperfect democracies and totalitarian regimes, and Huawei is a tool of a totalitarian regime.

Modest Mind, 20 Apr 2021Huawei should stop: + stealing the intellectual property... moreOh yes, stealing... That's the reason why Huawei has the most patents in 5G development and already has started development past 5G...

kek, 20 Apr 2021Nokia and Ericson are European based and comply with a lot ... moreAfter two years of antitrust political motivated campaign against Huawei neither Nokia nor Ericsson are still competitive in neither regard (speed, price, patent portfolio...). They will have to pay now for essential 5G patents to Huawei (which Huawei gave for free before) so they process will future go up. Both propagate 17 United nations so they aren't exactly neutral and are anyway under US paw. Somehow this is all against the bill. They all shown uncompetitive practices (companies and government's). Your control wish also fit's there. But seriously who will pay triple price of deploying for those networks? Answer is simple common folks who have least from it.

Thanks Romania you made my country more competitive against yours.
I already have 5G in my EU country thanks to Huawei. I have now a 5G contract for under 70€ a month for unlimited traffic and 4000 EU phone units. i have 300-500 GB a months of traffic and a ping of around 20. Cancelled my land line too.

                                  Good.

Yeah, because Romanian data is so important to China..

"The Romanian bill requires all vendors participating in 5G rollout must not be subject to control by a foreign government, have a transparent ownership structure, and be subject to a legal regime that enforces transparent corporate practices"
That would mean no 5G at all for Romania as they all are (one or the other).
