The thing is.. Is this map fiasco foreseeable? Is it avoidable? Did they test the map before launch? This is totally unexcusable for a giant company like Apple. And what solution does they offer? None! How about pushing an update that enables back google maps? Or giving away coupons for other map apps? Instead he just offered a letter. He probably was smiling and chuckling while typing it. Nope this ain't cut it. Don't be soften by this cheap stick.. Da*n u Apple

            Screw you Apple...
You charge 1K for a product and then say try the other brand software.

Anonymous, 28 Sep 2012I'll be the first to admit... I love anything Apple does. ... moreI think both of them are great men, of course Job is a legend! But you can't always compare, people their own style doing things, as long they done a good job.

Apple map is something new but not complete. Hard to compare with googles rich data base, ie 'street view '

Similar situation when we move from Symbian os or other os to IOS at the beginning, we complain about this, that, can't do normal thing we use to be.
I am sure it will improve, as long we help out as a customer

if nobody talk about u then u are nobody. people only hate apple simply bcoz of the price tag of their product,bt they actually do love apple and this can be proved if apply can sell their products same price as others, em sure the whole world will go to apple. remember no good thing come easily and also their most always be a first,second,..... and a last

just to check how bad it is, i asked my friend (beloved IP5 user) to show me River Clyde in Scotland, it didnt show river, now that is way too serious and malfunctioning of an app. imagine you rely on ios6 apple map and drive, you will dive into the river, so the conclusion is - always wear a life jacket, infact Iphone5 should be boxed with free life jacket when someone buys the phone...!

Apple Inc. has demanded $10 billion from farmers as compensation for loss of sale of its products owing to brand confusion and demanded that the Apple growers pull all their fruits from the US market. Apple’s attorneys have also sought an injunction against sale of apples (the fruit) during the litigation.
Apple Inc. has now filed a fresh lawsuit against American apple growers for “growing a spherical fruit resembling the company’s logo, and marketing it under the company’s trademarked name ‘Apple’”.

I'm unsatisfied with the way Tim cooks apple. I miss Jobs - he'd never call his product bad, even when it couldn't make calls because "you're holding it wrong".

Oh Happy Days. After having bought 5 iPhones and other iDevices, iPods in the past, I am so glad to be free of the cheating, suing, greed-driven company that Apple has become. You have completely lost me and so many others as customers.

I assume it is the beginning of the end of apple inc.

Tried Android, tried Apple. Its true Apple have cocked up with maps but it is refreshing to see Tim say use Google maps or others.Must say i use to hate the Apples hype and still do, but having used both i must say i think Apple just works better and is much more user friendly.just my opinion.Maybe i will try Android next year and and change my mind, but until then its Apple for me.
