The new miui 12.5 update has removed the issues that were present in pre-release software.
Also, the OnePlus 9 Pro is better than the S21 Ultra in low light. Mi 11 Ultra better than OnePlus 9 Pro, both in video and photo.
In low light,
Mi 11 Ultra > OnePlus 9 Pro > S21 Ultra

There is no Note 21 Ultra this year as confirmed by Samsung.
Zenfone 8 won't have as good of a camera.
Pixel is a joke. They are shipping midrangers at flagship price.
IPhone 13 pro Max another lame device where one can't expect anything new or worth challenging to the MI 11 Ultra.
Huawei p50 pro might have comparable cameras but they are plagues with lack of availability across the The world and no play services.

[deleted post]nothing wrong with wanting more competition though, literally our only options are Pixel, Samsung, Apple and maybe OnePlus. (importing phones to America and having them work is hit or miss). Huawei was growing like crazy in the American market but then Trump happened and now Huawei is not allowed back in which sucks. the Mate 40 pro and P40 pro are awsome phones that take stellar photos. i really do hope they come back soon, and they can then have GMS again which just makes them that much better

Works on all bands, play services out of the box, Google pay, etc everything working as it should.
No need to spend more for the S21 Ultra or IPhone 12 pro Max

i wish Huawei and Xiaomi were here in the states, but Xiaomi would probs get sued for creating a knockoff iPhone X so... Hope Biden lets Huawei back in atleast (THANKS FOR NOTHING TRUMP!!!!!!)

In Europe it was priced stupidly sim-free (£300 more than OnePlus 8 Pro) but actually similar price on contract - the periscope camera gives the Find the edge imho :)

The Samsung phones are build in the same way as many chinese manufacturers including Xiaomi. They are even made in same areas and same factories with the same materials. To be fair, the consumers across the globe have paid too much for phones manufactured in China but with a Samsung label.
Secondly, Xiaomi phones are in gen 11 now and give great quality as you can expect from Samsung and others.
Time have changed but you are still in the past.
