No, it's not too much to ask that a gaming phone packs photography chops too. Instead of product differentiation, just create an ultimate flagship that excels at everything. Zhou Dongyu having a lower PPI than pentile diamond pixel arrangement would mean a QHD panel being on par with an RGB FHD panel in terms of sharpness. I have sharp eyes and I realised that my ROG P2 was a little pixelated. However, BOE recently developed a new pixel layout that is hexagon shaped and could possibly be better than diamond ahaped.

For example the mi11 lite 5g in China is supposedly using mixed screens from Tianma and Huaxing Optoelectronics. Consumers generally report the Huaxing Optoelectronics one to be much better. Huawei and Oppo also use mixed screens on some models. Some of the Chinese Oled manufacturers use what's referred to in China as the Zhou Dongyu pixel arrangement rather than the diamond arrangement. This results in lower ppi on the screen and less sharp images and text. Also some Oled screens don't support dc dimming and instead use pwm flickering which affects people who are sensitive to screen flickering.

(... moreIm thinking about buying this instead of the F3...but it might take months for them to announce a global version, and after that, some more time for them to bring it over here, for instance, Poco F3 was announced locally like 5 days ago, they had a pre-sale that ran out, Black 256gb only, and those will be sent around April 30th, no more words about other variants or actual stock online, they simply wont reply...so, this phone? It will take a while.

                Still remember my old lenovo mtk 6577 it performs so bad compared to other same grade brand processor

(... moreonly thing stopping me from buying it is Xiaomi refusal to use USB 3 on all of its phones flagship or midrange. I really need my phone to display out through HDMI and have the option to use as portable retro rig and mobile. such a shame or ill would have jumped to this over my exynos S20+.

Mediatek 1200 is on par with the SD 870 plus SD 888 has heating problems. You clearly don't know about phone tech, it's better for you to stfu.

                          How many of you are planning to buy this amazing phone?
                          (If not give me one reason why you won't buy ,Maybe i will change my opinion to not buy this phone.)
                          but don't say it doesn't snapdragon so you wont buy except that reason.

                                    Redmi really need to decide which market segment they want to be ... This definitely will clash with black shark target market ..tbh, they should release this under black shark brand as affordable gaming phone.

                                    I will not be surprised if poco decided to offer something similar in near future.
