      Looks like the Sony Xperia 1 III will be priced at £999 or less in the UK for the 256GB variant. If that's true, that would be a very attractive flagship handset!

So much sales that they can't release the actual numbers data except that they have 10 million users globally. That's peanuts. The reason why their phones are cheaper is because there is cost cutting and R&D spread with Oppo Find X3 Pro. While you can call OnePlus 9 Pro a flagship is still lacks features of Xperia 1 III.

Not ... moreanother one of the main reasons are the screen ratio's (21:9) and i find it a bit too thin for my taste, like i get what they are coming from by wanting to make a cinematic experience and they have a big business in the movie industry. but i am more comfortable with a phone that has like a 20:9 or maybe 19:9 like Samsung's Note used to have before the Note 9 i think. Mainly because i have big hands and my ring finger and middle finger constantly touch the screen and i get accidental touches

                                Yeah, they are "following " LG steps.

                                  Guess I could buy 3 phones for that price with same processor, and still have money left in my pocket. Great device though, not really expensive for what it offers. Still whatever it offers, most people are not gonna need it and to them it'll seem like an overpriced phone. On top of that, Sony's mobile release strategy sucks, so someone who's not a fan of Xperia probably gonna forget about it, or Snapdragon 888 Plus will come and this phone will look outdated. Seems 4k at 120fps doesn't drain the battery as much as you'd expect; it's surprisingly good! Don't see why a normal user should be looking forward to this.

Not like you won't get OS upgrades or a durable device. You certainly do. If you don't need the headphone jack or microSD card, then OnePlus or Samsung would absolutely work for ya.
