I think most of these exporters are offering their own warranty but I assume you would have to send it back to them in China which would take ages if that is the case

I mean for a 1200 or 1000 eur phone, one would expect a 2 year warranty and a local repair service. Its required by EU law but it does not apply to imported electronics from China.

People over here in Europe need not pay €1200 for base variant. The Chinese edition supports all bands here in most European countries and can be had for under €1000.

In France, the Chinese variant ticks all boxes as far as band compatibility goes.
I ordered it from Giztop, cost me around €1000 for 12gb/256gb variant (with charger)
